Z-force is on seasonal operation at SFMM, it makes to much noise to close to the waterpark, and lifeguards for a nearby pool cant hear whats going on. (not like anyone in their right mind rides Flashback, when it is open I rarely saw more than 1-2 people riding it)

That ride is better off closed.

Then technically wouldn't that not be counted?

Actually Flashback has NOT operated to the public since late April 2003. It didn't open up for two of the past HH offseasons. The ride is closed for good, and according to SFMM guest relations(I don't believe them one bit, they told me last year Sky Tower would re-open later that year, obviously that didnt happen) the ride won't be here after next season. It may be true because with the new coaster coming, it would make up for Flashback's spot and still keep the record.
While the ride was interesting, it's best to keep it down, nobody rode it. It's missing a lot of signage, no longer has power, and it's also boarded up. From what I hear, there are several expensive tasks that need to be done, but cannot be justified for the expense.
It's gone, it would take a miracle to come back. RIP Flashback/ZForce 1985-2003.

The sad thing is that the coaster isn't tucked away hiding in the back of the park or something.

It is a freakin eyesore right there in the front of the park for all to see.

A coaster of that size should either be shipped to a small scale SF park or gotten rid of for good.

I rode this thing in its glory days and wasn't impressed with it back then. SFGAm actually had alot of problems with it because it valleyed quite often requiring a crane to remove the train from the nosedive turns.

^Send it so SFAW!!!! Now SFMM is only keeping it to say they have the most coasters. If they realy wanted to get rid of it, they would most likly either give it to another park or scrap it. Personially, nothing that great will fit in that space. Well we shal see!

I loved SFMM and didnt think it was bad at all, great time and a great park for me anyway...

I didnot get to ride Viper though :( but X, Superman, Riddlers are awesome. Goliath is great too.

Flashback probably wont be there in two years, I've heard of credible sources saying that they want to remove it, but I dont know, since they do you want to most coasters. If it is still there, it will most likely be SBNO'd for no one liking it and being too loud.

Just throw in another cookie cutter kid coaster, get rid of Flashback, and problem solved with having the most coasters.

Although I find it hard to believe they would have it sitting there just to hold a pointless record.

Remember, this is the same park that has has the Sky Tower and Monorail sit there for years without operating.

A small kiddie coaster will. Actully, if SFMM was ambitious enough, they could fit 2 small kiddie coasters in there or a couple of flat rides.
This is where I would usually put stuff. Can't think of anything right now... =/

Although, they already have 2 small kiddie coasters (Canyon Blaster and Goliath Jr. I don't know if anything bigger than those would be able to fit in that spot. It may be able to accomidate an S&S Screamin' Squirrel though :D

See, we have to remember that this ride has just been sitting here for almost two years not operating. That is the same as Shockwave sitting in that field for two years. Flashback is not getting any younger, and I'm sure that the weather isn't doing too much good to the ride. I think if it gets removed, it's next destination is the recycling center.

I read on Pointbuzz that Flashback has a severed power supply or something along those lines. Don't know if it is true however.

I still think it is stupid for Guinness to let SFMM keep the record if they won't even operate the coaster. I really think they should make the clarify the rules for most coasters, cause atm in my book, Cedar Point has the most coasters cause all of their's are operating.

Edit: Nevermind. My friend on AIM just made a good point about the subject and now I feel all stupid. Here is what he said:
rctfan1556: do you think sfmm should be allowed to keep the record for most coasters if they won't even operate flashback?

SkaterFreakboi: yes i do....they didnt lie. they said they have 16 coasters...they never said that they promise all will be operating

I think its kind of cheap that SFMM has the record but it would sound dumb if Cedar Point had the record for the most coasters operating.

I hear SFMM has widespread corruption and terrible service. That's why I'm not going there.
