I used to love comming to SF when i was a younger kid (11-12) and now that i'm almost 16...wait that's besides the point....

well anyways...I went to the park yesterday and everything was going great...BLAH BLAH BLAH...

So it was around 6:30 and we were making our 2nd round to all of the rides...and around 7 the lines started to get longer...and longer...and LONGER!

then i realized.."OH! HH closes @ 7" so i was all GREAT! my favorite part of my SF's day...ruined by a stupid water park!! so once closing time rolled around...i coulden't run to my favorite rides and ride them 7 (Yes 7) times in a row like i always do *cough* RAGING BULL *cough*...

Also (one more little complant) Why put it next to the south west territory?!? it totaly ruines it for me to see all of the cool desert "THEME" stuff and them BOOM! in my face there is a water park...

yes i know that was the most reasanible place to put it...and i don't hate it that much...

But i really wish that it was seprate...so that the park isn't so crowded at closing time...

Because i go there for the roller coasters...not the HUGE lines from water park goers...well i g2g sight seeing now...(I hate it when my mom sets days like this) well i'll be at the park tomarrow...and the next day...

so that was what i was thinking yesterday during my park day!

Before you complain about the location of the waterpark, could you tell us where you would've put it?

Also, I don't think it's right to complain about long lines. Long lines = good business for Great America, so the park loves to see long lines.

I don't know if you realize this, but the reason why you were at your second round of rides by 6:30 was because of the waterpark actually being there. The majority of the people in the park are in the waterpark during hours of operation, so that makes the amusement park lines short.

Honestly, some of your complaints just don't make sense to me.

You need to plan out your day better. You should have remembered that HH closes at 7 and gone to the other side of the park. Raging Bull and Viper get a lot of riders from HH before opening and after close, so only an idiot would be in that area around then. So don't complain about not being able to marathon RB at 7.

Well, obviously you dont go to the park that much. You cant complain about the waterpark, if it werent for the waterpark, lines would be VERY long all day, rather tahn just moderately crowded lines.

And SEVEN RIDES on Bull in a row on a Sunday in July, NEVER will happen this year, especially how the park attendance has been. I have been there so many times this year, it is much more crowded this year than last year. Thankfully the waterpark has killed the lines, so I'd like to thank the waterpark for making my visits much better.

When will some of you realize that SWT is crowded from 7:00 to around 7:45...then the GP flocks as a group. So by the end of the night.. you should finish off over in Southwest Territory..or the beginning of Country Fair.

My suggestion would be from 7 to 9 pm be over in Yankee Harbor or Mardi Gras.. Ride V2 and Batman etc etc then the last hour hit Bull

Im really sick of people complaining about lines at a theme park or at the waterpark. As if they are the only people there that day who wants to get on the rides.

Give me a break, if your going to Six Flags or ANY theme park expect to wait in lines. That's just how it is. And the fact that you were making your second round of rides, must have meant you had a good day up until 7p.m.....if the waterpark wasn't around the park would have been crowded like it was after 7p.m. the whole day.

And if you can't follow the forum rules when you make a post. Your posts are going to get locked or deleted.
