This is not a rumor or a joke. SW wasnt completely scrapped. Rick Goff visited the park last fall to check on how things are going and to look at SW. He saw that it is in pretty good shape but some pieces were bad. What these pieces were I dont know. So anyways he scrapped the bad pieces and the good parts are in storage. He has been involved in trying to sell SW but it hasnt been a sucess. He is now looking into selling SW to Valleyfair! since they showed interest in it. Hopefully the deal goes through because Valleyfair! isnt too far.

I have a feeling what I just said is going to be deleted but Ill take my chances.

Since Coaster Alex0805- Lets say the park took down Iron Wolf. What do you think it would be replaced with? Iron Wolf isnt too big and it was put in the spot where Z-Force was which is a bit smaller.

2 trains were sent to SFMM, one is still in storage somewhere, the rest is pop cans and foreign auto chassis by now.

Many reasons why they took it down. They wanted to put up SUF in its place. Also it seemed as if not many people wanted to ride it in its last few years. It might've had problems, and one of those problems caused it to close. It had a little accident but no one was injured. After that it never opened again.

The sad thing is that many people did want to ride it. The park has gotten tons of complaints and comments about SW. I know the numbers are in the thousands and Ill see if I can get a figure. My friends the hippies are pretty good friends with John Curty and he even asked them if they made a mistake by taking donw SW. They said yes and a little more.

SW was such a better ride than S:UF is. They should tear down S:UF for more parking or some nice landscaping.

I believe taking down SW was one of the biggest mistakes the park has ever made. Then to top it all off they replace it with S:UF. I wish S:UF was in the trade program. Id be happy if it was replaced with a bunch of flats. Im not complaining or anything Im just saying what I think.

The line for it gets shorter and shorter everytime I walk by it, the novelty seems to be wearing off for it now.

^And with the roughness, we could be in line for another Iron Wolf!
Actually, they both are odd coasters, one's a flying and the other a stand-up, both have 2 inversions!

S:UF's popularity has died down quite a bit since it opened. I think most of the people who you see in line for S:UF are people who havent been on it before. The reason is because S:UF is a one trick pony. The flying position and pretzel loop arent good enough to keep a riders interest. S:UF just has a plain layout after the pretzel loop. Its too bad since there was a big hype about it. Hopefully B&M can make decent flyers in the future.

AIR is one of the better flying coasters around, it's to bad SUF has a fairly bland layout as AIR proves B&M know how to do it right, though even worse is SF cloned it :)

am I the only one here that like S:UF? I think it is very fun and a lot of my friends like it too. I ride it almost everytime I am there. And, I think a lot of people in line for S: UF have been on it before, because over the years the initial screams when you first get tilted forward have died down.

I cant say for myself that Air is really a better layout but I did talk to people who have ridden it. I talked to a guy who lives in England and the other lived in Scotland. They said that Air was okay and S:UF was a bit better. Anyways they said that hopefully then can eventually ride a fun flyer. These are only two peoples opinion so it doesnt mean much. It would be awesome if the flyer rumor for SFMM came true. A pretzel loop along with an Immelman would be awesome. If its going to be on Samurai Summit they can do a lot of things with the layout. If it comes true it should be an interesting ride.

Yeah....... and I am freinds with Frosty the Snowman and Santa Claus.

And you can't get a figure, you or any of your hippie freinds don't know John Curty, and you should just let Shockwave go. Its gone, melted down and some convict is making a license plate for your car with it, if you can pass the drivers test someday.

You are now a qualified GENIUS.

How do you know Frosty and Santa?! Youre really lucky! Man Im Jealous!

If you read it again I didnt say I knew John Curty. I said they are pretty good friends with him. You are now the GENIUS.

SW is gone and I never had to let it go. They are the ones that get information on it and tell me. SW was their favortie ride and they want to know whats going on with it. I dont think thats obsesive at all. Youll think so anyway.

The drivers test comment was the dumbest part of your trash talking. You should have thought about that a little more before you said it.

I dont know if this hase been brought to your attention before but you dont know everything. You should probably let that go.

While im not a big fan of SUF, it is alot busier than Shockwave.
While i liked shockwave, the best thing about it was that you could hit the ride at the end of the day and ride it numerous times without having too leave, that is until you were too sore to ride anymore due to no lines.
And this isnt the case with SUF.
