SFGAm 7/14 - CAD

Let us know how your day at the park was.
Postby DejaVuGurl1203 on July 15th, 2005, 2:03 am
Today was a fairly good day. Got there around 1, went straight to Bull. 15 minute wait for back row, awesome ride but teal train sucks. Since the line was shorter I got back on, waited 10 minutes for back row again. Even better ride. Then I went on Giant Drop since it was a walk-on. While on this I realized that Deja Vu had not actually open yet today. I was shocked and disappointed... Great ride, I really love that drop.

Next I went off to American Eagle, a 10 minute wait for front row on blue. It was running great today. While going up the lift I was leaning forward looking at the park, and a guy in the row behind me said "Hey are you okay? Did you die?! Hello?" and when I moved, he said "Oh I thought she died, she was just hanging there." I thought it was hilarious...

Then went on Revolution, fun ride. Next was IW, 15 minute wait for back row. Not much else to say other than the fact that this ride rocks... I got some fries on the way to V2. V2 was about a 30 minute wait, and I went in back row. This ride is simply awesome in back row, I gotta do back row more often.

Went over to BTR, 25 minute wait. It was hauling today! GREAT ride. I walked past Ragin' Cajun, really wanted to go on but the line was long and I didn't feel like waiting over half an hour. Went on King Chaos instead, which was a walk on as always. I'm always wondering why this ride never has much of a line, are most people too scared to ride it or something? I think it's an awesome ride though.

Then me and my dad went on Sky Trek Tower. Ohh god, looking at the water park from up there really made me want to go! I then went on Triple Play for the first time this year, but it's not as fun as I remember. I went to Orbit next, and once I got on I saw Deja Vu testing! I got all excited. Once I got off Orbit I ran straight over there, blah, LONG line waiting to get in. But it kept on getting shorter... After over an hour of waiting, and 31 test runs, it finally opened up at 6:30. I got on 5th dispatch in row 1B. Amazing ride.

Then I went on Viper, 20 minute wait for 1:3. Awesome airtime as always... I went on Bull, 25 minute wait for back row. Ok, this morning the ride was boring but now it's absolutely awesome... Then I went to eat some nachos, waited for it to get darker, and got back in line for Bull. This time it was about a 30 minute wait. AMAZING night ride in the front row! This ride is absolutely amazing in the front row at night.

Giant Drop was broken down, but I waited to see it open. It opened 5 minutes later, so I walked right on it. GD is a great ride at night. I was walking past Deja Vu when I realized there was barely a line, so I'm thinking what the hell? I figured it was broken down, so I waited for it to open. 10 minutes later it opened up after testing 3 times. Waited like 10 minutes for 1A because I got to go in front of some people :D Omg, this ride is totally indescribable. For some reason it just keeps getting better every time I ride it.

Then I went to Eagle, 30 minute wait for front row blue. This was about the time that CAD started. Wow, the ride seemed a lot faster tonight, especially in the helix!

Then I waited for Iron Wolf, about a 15 minute wait for the back. Tonight I realized how amazing this ride is at nighttime. It just looks simply cool because it's so dark, going through all the trees and stuff. All the lines were long, so I skipped basically everything... went on SUF, 25 minute wait for back row. Awesome ride. I love the way SUF looks at night... the colors just look great.

I was gonna go on Vu again, but I didn't have enough time to wait. So I went on Demon, which had a 5 minute wait for 6:1. Awesome ride... I had time to get back on but I wanted to leave a little earlier because I have to get up early tomorrow and go to Indiana Beach. So yeah pretty much left the park at 11:50. It was a great day.

Notes:
-Nice weather all day
-My first Coasters After Dark
-Saw Dan and m-force 4 ever
-Vu was closed until about 6:00 or so?
-We went in HH at around 2:00 and it was packed. Mostly stayed in Skull Island and the wave pool. It seems that the waves got shorter.

I really am starting to love this ride again. Loads of airtime, even in the middle. Some very intense races later on in the day. Awesome crew.
Sat in: Second last row twice, somewhere in the middle.

BTR:2
Very short wait at around 11:00 am. Line was up to the bridge, so we got on. As DejaVuGurl1203 said, this ride was hauling today. The first time I think that I have ever blacked out on the first loop. At 9:50, we waited for about 45 minutes for the second ride, and it was definately worth it.
Sat: Back row twice

Deja Vu:1
Stayed closed until about 6:00 or so. I waited for over an hour at about 1:00 while it was testing. Danhockey04, m-force 4 ever, and someone else who seemed to get angry when his screen name got given out without his permission. Anyways, he kept telling people that he was a designer of the ride and it would open in ?? minutes (he would change it every time). The ride ops even got in the game a little bit. The funny part is, people actually believed him.
But... we waited again for an hour at around 5:00 and got second dispatch.
Sat: 1B

Demon:1
The lines for this seemed very long all day. Didn't feel like waiting for it.
Sat: 7:1

Iron Wolf:1
I'm not really sure why we didn't go on this ride more, but the one time we went on was a walk-on for front row. Great ride, but not as good as back.
Sat: 1

Raging Bull: 6
I love this ride. Got first dispatch on row 9, and saw Dan do something very interesting--Lean over the side of the train and look down for the entire ride. I tried it and it was actually kinda cool. Also, a ride op said that one of the guys who usually works on Bull played Mr. Six on the commercial. Is this true?
Sat: 9,9,8,9,8,9

V2: 1
Another ride that I am not sure why we didn't go on more. Great ride, even though we didn't get the back row.
Sat: 5

We went on a few flats, but I don't really want to talk about them.

GD:2
TP:1
Chub:1
Orb:1

Total rides: 20+ HH
Coasters Ridden: 131
Top 5: Maverick, El Toro, Voyage, Fahrenheit, Dominator

It's unofficially called taking the inversion, I love doing that. I think many do. About the Mr. Six thing could they have been joking about Brant?
1. Voyage
2. X
3. Millenium Force
4. Top Thrill Dragster
5. Raging Bull

'05 Bull: 113
