Think of all the minor changes Six Flags Great America has made! I remember they use to have a Ride Picture for American Eagle. Maybe they moved it to Ragin' Cajun?
LOL! I never got to ride Shockwave! My first time at Six Flags was when they said they were going to take down the Whizzer so shockwave was closed and I was on TV that day!!! On the news that said SAVE WHIZZER I would have rather seen it gone
I was waiting in line for Revalution and there phone rang and inside the box said Amery go round (spell check) Maybe they are so busy that they never fix simple things?

Double post...
How is that not fixing things? Wow, they didnt repaint the phone? Whats the big deal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
didn't they used to have a parade in the middle of the day? I think i remember one during the mardi gras event before they actually created a mardi gras themed area. That's funny for the SUF pic, shockwave photo...lol!
I personally liked MARDI GRA the Week Long FESTIVAL Event Verses the Mardi Gra SECTION. The week long event was Much better, Much mroe fun, and lively. this new SECTION has no life to it. just some new rides and a cajin restaraunt. no beads, or funny looken people or anything
^The Orbit was originally over there back in the early 80's(named Orleans Orbit), as well as the Southern Cross Skyride.
I do remember the vine tunnel that ran infront of Sky Whirl from my first trip to the park back in 1999.... and I prefer the name Yankee Clipper over Ice Mtn. Splash anyday!!
Tidal Wave was in Yankee Harbor. The Whirligig was once next to Haybayler, now V2 holds that spot. also, I believe the orbit has been around the park. Am I right?
Tidal Wave was in Yankee Harbor where Batman now stands. Whirligig used to stand where V2 is now. (They took out the lighthouse ) Yes, Orbit was once called Orleans Orbit and was located somewhere around the Roaring Rapids area. I don't think Whirligig was next to Haybaler, but I could be wrong. There used to be a ride there called Bottoms Up near Demon (Turn of the Century until 1980).
Bottoms Up was where Orbit is now. Before Roraing Rapids (previously called White Water Rampage) that land was home to the Southern Cross Skyride, and before that it was home to the Gulf Coaster.
From looking at old park maps, I've come to the conclusion that Whirligig is the most re-located ride in the park.
When GAm opened in 1976, it was in County Fair where Iron Wolf's station is. It was moved from that spot when Z-Force was installed, to where it is now. When BTR was being built, it was moved(to allow for construction?) across the midway until V2 came along in 2001, when it was placed back into its current location.

V2 (as you know) is in Yankee Harbor. However, it does not hold Haybalers spot. Haybaler was where Deja Vu is. You must have mixed up V2 and Deja Vu since they were added in the same year. Just thought I'd clarify.
