I rode by the entrance of great america on Saturday and the traffic was backed up onto the toll way. im just curious if the park, waterpark, or both were crowded.

No, believe it or not the park was empty!!!!! The cars lining up by the entrance where actually just in line for the drive through at Burger King.

It summer, there was a line, and its common sense that it would be crowded.

^Stop with the sarcasm. After all, the park can fit 47,000 people.

Well not be any more ignorant, but Thats a really dumb question.

1) You even mentioned that the entrance was backed up. Where do you think the cars were going?

2) its the begginning of July on a weekend, possibly the most crowded days ever.

3) and third of all, theres a freaking Trip Report about it!! http://www.sfgamworld.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=4029

Don't tell me im the one with nothing intelligent to say........

Basically I was waiting for someone who was in the park to answer my question. My friend was there on Sunday and said that it wasn't really that bad even though it looked crowded when he was arriving. Yeah I know it's bad in July that's why I don't go to the park in July.

It was also around 10:00 so I was just wondering if it was crowded later in the day.

It was most likely very busy if you saw it backed up that far. As most Saturdays in the summer with nice weather are.
