Don't listen to him. IW is alright and any good coaster enthusiast will ride anything, big or small. Make sure to ride some flats too. Put Viper, B:TR, Bull, and V2 high on your priority list.

How many days are you coming for?? I would defnitley recommend trying to get on everything. I really must admit that there is not a ride in this park that I actually dislike.

Must's - Raging Bull (if you only do 1 thing at the park make sure it's this ride), Deja Vu, Batman, American Eagle Blue (backwards) and V2

Try to's - Iron Wolf, American Eagle Red (forward), Demon, Viper, Superman, and Giant Drop

Can pass if had to - Raging Cajun, Whizzer (even though I love)

For flats - they are all fun but I personally recommend Revolution and Triple Play. Those 2 have my heart!

Musts -Deja Vu, Raging Bull and Superman Ultimate Flight usually are the most packed for rollercoasters.
Demon is usually not too packed. V2 and BTR are also good. Everyone loves Viper except me.

Iffy rollercoasters-Whizzer is not too thrilling if you are more intense type of person. Spacely's is like Whizzer. Everyone seems to hate Iron Wolf except me. It can beat your head up very easily. Its a standup, so many people aren't crazy about that. Ragin Cajun' also beats you up senseless in every which way. American Eagle-no comment

Flats-Stargate is a piece of junk!!! Flats I would recommend (for people other than me) (King Chaos and Revolution are the most boring rides to me in my opinion.) are Revolution, King Chaos, Giant Drop, Sky Trek Tower (to see the park), Triple Play, Roaring Rapids, and Ricochet (underated flat) You will probably have to wait one cycle, but it is worth it!!

Shows-People like the show in Hometown Park called Circus Magnifico (something like that).

If you go on Bull ride in row 9 (last row). It makes for a much much better ride.
1. Voyage
2. X
3. Millenium Force
4. Top Thrill Dragster
5. Raging Bull

'05 Bull: 113
'06 Bull: lost count but not a lot

Ride Deja Vu in 1B, the seats to the side of the very front row. Usually the line for that is shorter and the feeling is basically the same as 1A. You definitely have to ride American Eagle and Raging Bull in the back row. Which seat on V2 is pretty much just a matter of preference. If you have time, ride it in the front and the back, but if you can only ride it once, go for the front.

my advice to you, ride every coaster as many times as you possibly can

especially ride American Eagle Blue but make sure you sit in the front row (which is actually last row bc its backwards) when your flying backwards and all you can see is the track makes the experience twice as fun

Go to Deja Vu first, and then go on everything else.

The first time I went to SFGAm and was responsible for my self  (about 6yrs. ago) here's how I got everything done:
1) I went on the website and found the map.
2) I made a list of all the rides I wanted to go on.
3) I planned them out in order of what's closest to each other. That way, I didn't go all over the park and waste my time walking. Just go to the rides as you pass them.
4) Do this, and you'll be arund the entire park in about 3 or 4 hours. Then, you'll be able to ride stuff again, but you won't miss anything!!!

Actually because of the rides capacity the turn over rate stinks and the line moves sloooooooooow, it's best to hop in line for that at the end of the night before they close the line. Much less wasted time that way.
Welcome to ShockWave please pull your harness down as far as it will go. While riding ShockWave please keep your hands and feet inside the car, and your head against the headrest, please hold on to all loose articles, especially hats and glasses. Enjoy your ride!

definatley hit Vu, Bull, and Whizzer for coasters. For flats, King Chaos, tripple Play, and Revy (not my favorite but others seem to enjoy it)

I also just went to the park for my first time, unfortunately a very busy day, and I still got all the coasters done. I got to the park at opening, and immediately ran to Vu, 1st day got row 1b and second day got row 8b. Just for waiting in line the 3 minutes that I was in the station, I could tell the capacity of the ride was terrible. The line built up to at least 1/2 hour while I was waiting to get on the train. I would recomend going to Vu first if you wanted to ride it, or right before they close as said above. All the others I just waited for, ran to Bull after Vu at about 10:07, and for the second day I got a fastpass.

First of all, Spaceley's and Whizzer are nothing alike. They shouldn't even be in the same sentence. Whizzer is only like 5 times as tall as Spaceley's and anyone can ride it, not just kids.

I actually do like Iron Wolf and hope it stays for a long time. On the other hand, I have no problems with Ragin' Cajun.

If I may comment. You used Spacelys and whizzer in the same sentance twice.
