Let us know how your day at the park was.
Postby rct2wizard360 on June 29th, 2005, 10:44 am
We arrived at 10 o'clock sharp. Made sure we had everything, and my friends mom was off to the waterpark, while me and my three friends hit up the park before we checked out Hurricane Harbor. I will list my rides in alphabetical order rather than how it happened.

American Eagle Blue
Total Rides: 1
Last row to leave the station
We looked at the line for Red, and it was pretty backed up. So we walked on to my favorite row of Blue. I notcied something on this cycle....Blue WON! They are really getting some good races going now, and it's really fun.

Batman: The Ride
Total Rides: 1
Front Row
The queue for front wasn't bad at all. Got on it in less than 15 minutes. No blacking out, but I'm beginning to feel another Iron Wolf.

Deja Vu
Total Rides: 8
1a, 1b, 8b, 6a, 7b, 4b, 2b, 8a
Decided to get my ride count up on this some more again, so I just ran in and out. We tried getting on it again at night, but it broke down, and they shut it off for the night at around 9:40.

Hurricane Harbor
Heres how are visit went to the waterpark.

Toilet Bowl-Not worth the wait, and I don't know about these lifeguards. My friends were sent when someone was still inside the bowl.

Dark Blue Tube Slide- Very fun, you can get very high on the walls if the tube is weighted right.

Skull Island- Half of the dang thing was a line for a slide on it. They need to open more of those walkways that are closed off.

Wave Pool- More like Wading Pool

Ice Mountain Splash
Total Rides: 1
Front of boat.
This was my first time on IMS since it hasn't been open once, out of every single time I've gone. I really like this ride, you dont get as wet as you should, but its the perfect amount of water.

King Chaos
Total Rides: 1
Front Row
I didn't like this ride today. I really think they should get a new program for it. Because this one got old awhile ago

Raging Bull
Total Rides: 4
Front Row Far Left, Back Row Far Left
If anyone was on our train at night screaming, "This shh is bananas B-A-N-A-N-A-S" Well, that was our train. The ops were doing a great job of getting everyone excited for their ride, and keeping the whole station upbeat. It was a very good night.

Superman: Ultimate Flight
Total Rides: 1
Back Row Left
Not as rough as it was last time. Not as much vibrations in anywhere besides the loop. Everything else was somewhat normal.

V2: Vertical Velocity
Total Rides: 1
Front Row
Once again, another ride getting back into the spiel game. Some of these were pretty funny. "5,4,(launches)" Good ride.

Viper
Total Rides: 1
Back Row.
For some reason, I just don't like this ride anymore. I just don't.

Other Things

-Wahoo Racers was being worked on throughout the day.
-The leader in Circo Magnifico got a new hat
-The Spiels are getting better and better and better.
-Whizzer was out to the sidewalk at one point today.
-Superman had a shorter line than Whizzer.
-Deja Vu ran the whole day, up until 9:40
-Park food is your friend.

Thanks for reading! :)

I think they are designed that way. Watch the promo video from the proslide website. They send 2 tubes into the bowl at a time in the promo video.

No blacking out, but I'm beginning to feel another Iron Wolf.

What do you mean by this? If you are saying its geting ruff your crazy. Batman is flying fast and smooth.

I really don't think they are meant to be sent that way. The lifeguards were freaking out like crazy.

Ummm, then they need to be retrained or something because they are supposed to be sending a tube out once the other is leaving the bowl.(Sometimes one tube gets another time around and 2 tubes are in the bowl at a time.)

Also, from what I saw and heard, the waterpark must have been a little understaffed yesterday? :?:

^ Same here. I'm telling you Joe, 1:3 has way more airtime than back row. Plus it's a shorter wait.

I think when I was on Batman on Monday, it was shaky but I can't quite remember. I do remember Bull and V2 being really shaky, especially at the bottom of hills (Bull).

Bull wasn't being rough yesterday, V2 was always like that for me if I recall. Seemed decent yesterday.
