They can't do that! That's where Necropolis is!

First of all its Ice Mountion Splash. The Ride I have never been on because it is always closed!!!!

As of Wizzer im not sure I think Six flags should take out IMS insted of Wizzer. But I think Wizzer is not a great ride and its old. Six flags will be 30 next year so if they do take out Wizzer im sure we will either get a new coaster or 2 or it will have somthing to do with Huricane Harbor which is OVER CROWDED!!!!!

I will try and find out what is going to happen because my sisters bf works there!

Why is it that rides always have to be taken out? Why can't SF be creative and make a new ride without removing something...Cedar Point's been doing it every odd year for over a decade, and look at how little space they have to work with.

Someone said that HolidayWorld might be getting a new coaster (just like the Whizzer) next year. While searching for that type of coaster, there are only two left. One of course is at SFGAm, and the other was moved to some other park (Worlds of Fun maybe) in 1999. It seems like the rest of them were parted like Shockwave. I bet you that if they take out Whizzer, they will also take out Hometown Fun Machine.

Could this be why they tried to make a family area as in Mardi Gras? Really, I don't think the Whizzer should go. I THINK it gets packed many times during the summer months. If I had control, I would probably take out IW (even though "I" think its great), or Am E.

As family coasters, what about SSR, Demon, and RC (Its supposed to be a "family" coaster.)?

I think the park is going to be crammed for space because of HH now. They should've kept the land across the street. In my opinion, SFGAm doesn't have the room that everyone says they do!!! If they could put a coaster where just IMS or where Stargate is, I would love for them to do that instead of taking out the above mentioned coasters.

Or Hey? Lets pave over Yukon Territory and put a 478 foot coaster there that only appeals to Coaster Enthusiasts. Lets get rid of every single flat ride and only build roller coasters. That sounds like a good Idea. And Why stop there? Lets just kick all those industrial people out from across I-94 and build a resort Hotel with the Worlds Tallest and Fastest Roller Coaster!

The Sarcasm is just pouring out...

And Ragin' Cajun is not a family coaster. The description is "High Thrill." And The Park, For the 3,828th time cannot take out Stargate because They have an agreement with MGM. Also, Why would they take out HTFM, it's small and takes up very small space. This thread is getting ridiculus(sp?) fast.

WoF had a Whizzer-type coaster but it was removed many years ago. Here are some pics:

If they decide to remove it, I doubt that it will be announced because of what happened last time it was announce, I think it will just close one day. And if it is removed, I am sure they have plans for that area. We'll just have to wait and see.

Okay I can now say that I've been to SFGAm, and loved it......So now I get to post here!

As for Wizzer, I'm disapointed....If it does go, it would be a shock to me. I liked the ride alot, and thought it was more intence and better than Italian Job ST!! Oh well, hopefully they don't just put a crappy clone in it's place like they did with Shockwave....

More intense than IJST? I don't know about that, let's not overdo it here. Granted they both go up a "spiral" or helix, one you are launched into. I don't even think you can compare the two rides. Sure there are visuals of water and trees on Whizzer, but IJST has a fast launch, an intense helix, very tight turns, a tunnel, and fire that shoots at you!
*Zach, who is confused how Whizzer can be more intense than IJST*

Well for one, IJST was really only intence in the parking garage helix, I got no airtime, no other high positive forces, and the launches were weak. Wizzer had a intence first turn, a intence second turn with extreme ground hugging action, and the final helix was pretty good. I'm just saying that Wizzer was more intence, not more themed.

(Ecpesially with our park. If I'm not mistaken, we got more B&M's then any park. Smile ).

I looked it up and atm, were tied with SFGAdv. If we do somehow get a floorless, then will have the most B&Ms. Who knows when that will happen.

This is where I would usually put stuff. Can't think of anything right now... =/

^You have no reasoning so you can't really say that. IJST is a lot more intense than wizzer and it has theming too.

This has been the most entertaining coaster thread that I have ever read! Period.

I have laughed, cryed, and laughed again.

The only things that I have learned through all of this is...

1. Trust No one.
2. Nothing is certain.
3. Whizzer is actually becoming a fun ride!
