I would choose Haybailer and Rolling Thunder. Haybailer never had a great chance because it was stuck in the tiny little corner enclosed. Rolling Thunder came down because it was too big, and they didn't feel like moving it to accomodate for more rides in the now SWT. These rides were really fun!!

Wow if this thread was when Shockwave was being removed, or like a month after.....Everybody would be like I would definately bring back shockwave, it was THE BEST COASTER ever.... sorry if i affend some of you that actually liked it.
CANT WAIT TO GO TO SIX FLAGS GREAT ADVENTURE! Hurricane Harbor! MAXXX! (Kingda Ka)

Not the best, i blacked out and so did many others......1 Loop, 2 loop, 3 loop BLACK OUT....Out for rest of ride, and at 11am? i had to call it a day and go home, NOT what i wanted...
anyway i would bring back rolling thunder. But then INCLOSE it like Disaster Transport and call it Dark Thunder.
Sky Whirl without a doubt, and it can go back in it's old spot for all I care. (Though DV is a great ride it doesnt hold a candle to Sky Whirl, also replacing a ride with nearly 3,000pph capacity with one that has 450pph capacity on an extraordinary day, was an assinine decision at best)

Are you serious? I once marathoned Shockwave to 27 rides in one day.
1. Voyage
2. X
3. Millenium Force
4. Top Thrill Dragster
5. Raging Bull
As for a rollercoaster I would pick Tidal Wave. Another launched ride. I love launches. From what I hear, this ride is still kicking at Kentucky Kingdom.
Although the ride I would like to see come back most overall is The Edge. Those drop rides look so fun. Drops period are fun.

Demon Drop at Cedar Point is almost exactly the same as The Edge was. The reason The Edge was taken out is because one car fell down the shaft and smashed a car at the bottom of the shaft and it killed a girl. It's a great ride though, as it was my favorite "flat" that Cedar Point had to offer at the time.

^ Are you sure about that? I thought that the "Edge Incident" involved three boys with no fatalities. If I remember right one of them was wearing an "I went over the edge and survived" T-shirt.
The girl on Raging Bull was the parks first fatality, right?
It's the most fun in the park when your laughing in the dark.

No one was EVER killed on the edge. There was an incident but no fatalites arose from it.
Gosh, every time a retro-ride topic comes up. The Edge is always brought up.
Shockwave was my favorite coaster before they tore it down. I'm actually the right height to not black out on it (aka, my head doesn't bash around) Not to mention Shockwave had more than two or three elements, it did more than just "fly" and loop under like its boring replacement.
Rolling Thunder was my favorite ride before I started riding american eagle all the time, back when I was like, 6,7,8 years old. I used to just go on it over and over. I want it back so I can try and remember why I liked it so much.
What you don't understand you can make mean anything.
Acually I find the Edge to be one of the lesser talked about rides in Six Flags history. It seems like Skywhir takes the cake. People often don't know the truth about the edge, but a brief forum search will come up with a few topics. I know I posted an extensive post on the incident way back.

Huh??? I don't agree with your Sky Whirl capacity of 3000 people per hour. If this was true, I would probably never have to wait in line for that ride when it was there. Later on, they started putting people in every other car on top of that. It took time to unload and load. You were up there for a good time.

Just checked my Intamin brochure it's actually 2,000 people per hour, but back in Sky Whirls heyday it did exceed that regularly, with 6 people grouped in every single car, somewhat faster swivel action, and loading in around one minute. Which all occured back when it was a park icon.
