^ He won the race against me to SUF on Labor Day weekend last year. He sat in my favorite seat for first dispatch of the day leaving me for second dispatch. When it came time to "fly", the airgates opened and Dan was let out with the other riders and a temporary delay in operations was announced. All of the mechanics kept working on the seat that Dan had been sitting in, but they couldn't get something in the back of the seat near the cylinder to work right. Finally they removed the train from the track and went into 1 train op for most of the day.
This resulted in a 20 min delay, the park GM being pointed out to me, and my first introduction to DanHockey04.
It's the most fun in the park when your laughing in the dark.
Seriously, there needs to be a "funny thing happened at the park..." thread where people just tell these stories. Unfortunately I really don't have any to tell.
lol, i have plenty of funny stories when it comes to the park, like the fastlane for the bathroom, and things about reflection pond, and things going on at stargate.......

I did this with my friend in a 1986 Dodge Dakota v6, 2 seater, with 225,000 miles on it, no A/C, a steering column that moved
6 inches in any direction (You had to hold it just right to even start the truck), and an engine that at idle kicked like a .308 winchester rifle.
Honorable mention would be keeping my daughter alive longer than most of my small pets.

The usual way. I mean hamsters, rats, any number of small rodent like creatures just tend not to make it past 2-3 yrs. It isn't like I didn't feed or handle them regularly, it just happens.
One day they're spinning in a wheel, the next day they're pushing up pine / cedar shavings.

It's nice to know there are at least a handfull of twenty-somethings and up on this board, people with kids have a better idea of things, so I've noticed. (Well, kinda, I guess that depends on how old the kid is, because sometimes the kids will throw the adult off.)
Congrats on keeping your offspring alive!
What you don't understand you can make mean anything.

This makes me sad... my little bunny wabbit just turned 9!! 9!! It's a bunny!! I must be doing something right because my 2 ferrets are 7 years old this fall.
R.I.P To all of ihauntu2's beloved lost companions
We have had a total of Five Gerbils and three rats. The First rat lived about a year and a half. The Other two rats both lived just over two years.
The First Gerbil lived about three years, so did the second one. and the forth and fifth ones. But the Third Gerbil lived almost (not Quite) five years.

I would like to change that answer now to yes in my member spotlight. I started going out with my new girlfriend on 6/26. I am really happy that we are together, cause I really like her. For those of you who want to know who my girlfriend is, I can give you a few clues. She goes to GAm a lot, she posts here, and her spotlight was right before mine. I am going out with Ally, LAFFfan4lyfe.
