Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
Do any of you think american eagle is going to be taken out? it has very short que lines, and it is a very shaky ride. I am not sure if it should get taken out or not because it is a classic, but yet it does take up a huge space to put other rollercoasters there.

What are you kidding me? American eagle is probably the best wooden one there, they dont even have a reason to take it out.
Giant drop is the best ride ever!

Wow.
Am. Eagle actually has a pretty small footprint (it only takes up the very edge of the property, and the area where the helix is would be unbuildable for any other ide as it is a swamp.)
So no... American Eagle is going nowhere.

I dont think they would take American Eagle out unless they could build over 200ft and I think you know were I'm going.

It isnt going anywhere for atleast 10 years, unless destroyed by natural desastor, or a bad accident occurs, they just re-tracked one side and the helix, and are planning on re-painting it. Most wooden Oldies are goodies, take Cyclone at Coney Island and Big Dipper at Geauga Lake for example.
