ACE Complaint + Trip Report 6/20

Let us know how your day at the park was.
Postby danieln84 on June 20th, 2005, 11:57 pm
Trip Report:

Lines were good, went on DeJa vu first ride, wasnt bad at all. demon was a WALK ON, Literally. Next was giant drop. superman. v2, american eagel blue, batman and then vipor, some water rides and DEJA VU for our closing ride, which brings me to:

ACE COMPLAINT So, we got in line for Deja Vu at 8:45.....waiting for VU, well around 9:15pm. one of the air hoses on the ground near the Boomerang started hissing (leaking air) then right as we were about to go, it sprung open and got loud, leaking air like made. So we get out of the car and get back into the QUE. Well all of the ACE people behind us start complaining that its waisting ther PRECIOUS 2 hour ride time. "well this better be fixed, we are garaunteed 2 hours ride time in the park and 2nd of all these people shouldnt be here after 9 these rides are ONLY supposed to be open to ACE members ONLY!!!" So i turned around and was like, EXCUSE ME? if you are not familar with park rules...."All guests in the QUEUE line before park close (9pm) will be garaunteed a ride" He response with "well the line was supposed to be cut off". So right as the ride was fixed i was like, You know what? SIX FLAGS takes care of here quests, and if there park policy is "be inline by park close, be garaunteed a ride" and they want to inforce it they can. just because you are part of ACE doest mean you can tell me how it is and tell me what the PARK does and does not do. i was like YOU DONT work for 6 flags so stop complaining, be happy they even OFFER YOU this EVENT!!!!

Another ACE memeber thing pissed me off, an ACE member walks up to the end of the AE Blue line and is like Excuse me and im like WHY!!! no line Jumping, he was like, IM PART OF ACE. i was like, I DONT CARE, no line jumping, and im pretty sure its against your RULES!!!! and he marched off. he probably thought i didnt know who ACE was so i would just let him pass. grrrr

it was so awsome day though. not to crowded. didnt wait to long, i think the best part of the day, was waiting to ride VU last ride after dark and telling the ACE person how it was.

P.S. Some ACE people really need to keep attention on the QUE LINE? there so many ACE people today that i had to ask to MOVE ON becuase they were to busy watching the ride...im not saying all but some!!!

I feel bad for telling him off but ACE means nothing to me, respect the PARK GUESTS and be glad your even THERE!!! Just because you have a Piece of plastic with ACE on it doesnt make you more important then anyone else. When they say Exclusive ride from time 9-11 that means that STARTING @ 9 the line is only open for ACE memers. i got there at 8:45 so i had my right to ride.....ACE members need to realize they ARE not the BOSS...the Park manager and Ride OPS are my BOSS when im at Six Flags

THANKS FOR RECKING MY TRIP ACE!!!! All i was doing all day is darting between ACE people standing in the middle no where when people are trying to walk and asking so many times. "THE LINE MOVED" becuase there to busy watching the RIDE!!! ( if your gonna stop please stand off to the side of the path.

ACE doesnt make you more important then me, it just states what you belong to. and that you get extra time before and after. when the park is open to the GENERAL public you are a STANDARD GUEST and you have to follow park rules and RESPECT EVERYONE!!!

Sorry, but today pissed me off so bad......if you didnt do any of these things. I THANK YOU for not pissing me off today :) im sure all the ACE people on here have respect!!!

its nice to see someone on MY SIDE, because i know all the ACE people who read this are gonna COMPLAIN AND MOAN and HARASS ME...well if you didnt DO ANY OF THESE THINGS....then dont WORRY about

to answer your question:

7 days i think starting sunday? but i think they are going to numerous parks. i dont know....now im on a rampage. calm me down please....my new Irritation for the YEAR is when ACE people try to boss me around.

If they keep disrespecting SFGA regular guests then SFGA shouldnt let them come there anymore.

ACE is just a name, please dont abuse it

someone mentioned that they were here through Wednesday then they go to the Dells. I think I'm going to go on Thurs instead of Weds now.

If they like ERT that much they should all pitch in money and build their own coaster, then they can have ERT on it all day and all night.

The ACErs are cool, they gave the compliment on the first day saying that the park is really beautiful. There are some that have problems, but they are cool, and there are only just under 500 there, which isnt terrible.

Just wanted to let everyone know i wasnt complaining about ALL ACE...just a few :) lol. ya, some get really annoying.

Example....Not paying Attention to lines, trying to cut thinking i dont know what ACE is and letting them through. Complaining because a ride is down and NON ACE people are in front of them after close and they WANT THERE RIDE TIME.

I'm an ACE member, and there are rules that you aren't supposed to expect or ask for privaleges just because you're an ACEr. So you're not supposed to ask for one click rides and think that you can line jump. I thought that the ERT for Vu was tonight, but anyways, if they have ERT on that ride, then they should have the line closed off early in order to keep the non-ACErs from being on that particular ride after 9pm. For not ERT rides they don't have to close the line off early. They were probably just mad because the ride was broken and they wanted to get their credits.

I am planning on going next Wed, but I am not a member of ACE. What time should I get in line if I want a last ride? Is there anything else I should worry about?

yep my plans have changed...I'll be there tomorrow now. 500 ACEers shouldn't significantly increase the crowd level should it? I mean that's really not too many people.

Regardless if the ride broke down or not, the park should not close off the line early enough to clear out everyone before the 9 pm closing time. The park has a policy to give everyone that gets in line before closing time a ride. If you want ERT, get your butts out of bed early and have the park do ERT before the park opens.

Ok, as a member of ACE and a participant of Coaster Con 2005, it appears that you are all over-reacting.(As Timmy has said.)

For those of you who are contemplating going today(Wednesday), most, if not all Acers will be at the banquet from 6-11pm. Also, many Acers don't even ride all the coasters. Many Acers leave after the Ert ends in the morning and take breaks. You really shouldn't worry about Acers this Wednesday, it will not affect your day.

Anyways, I have encountered a few rotten apples in the bunch (A guy at Vu and some people waiting for food). They didn't bother me at all. I was expecting stuff like this. But most of these people have made for one of the best weeks ever. They are really a great and unique bunch of Acers.

The event has ran pretty smoothly and the park has been more than gracious for everyone. All rides that were sheduled for ert have been open and you could practically stay on in any row(minus the front). Vu was only closed for 10 minutes during ert. Those complainers should have merely come back later when they were sending 3/4 empty trains on the ride.

And, YES, Ace will be leaving SfGam this Wednesday and the event will conclude in Wisconsin. But you would have probably had more fun seeing and talking with the people from ACE.(Well, at least most of us. :) )

Thanks for listening to my rant, and I hope to have a full trip report of my trip next week! 8)

yeah, i had no problem with the acers yesterday, except for a select few  , but they all seemed fine to me. Sorry you had a problem with them, but at times, they cleared the lines for the park I think. There were a few times yesterday, 6/21, where some of the rides were walk ons, but some of the bigger rides were in switchbacks. maybe it's kinda a good thing they were there......lol.

I also had no problem with any acers. But, if you do, hey, don't join ACE, and don't go on days when they have events, problem solved...
