Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

Did she die because she had a heart attack or taffy/gum or whatever. And did it happen going down the first big drop? This whole thing must of been pretty sad for the parents.

My understanding is that 1st they said that she choked on gum but then a few weeks later they announced that she had a heart condition... if I remember correctly. So I always took the heart condition to be the official cause of death.

I believe she had an enlarged heart. Before the Autopsy, they said it was becasue she choked on gum (which couldnt've helped her). Also, this should be in the SFGAm forum, just to let you know.

The Media was assuming that she cocked to death Because of the taffy being in her mouth after the accident. Due to the New HIPPA regulations, The Autopsy was never released to the General Public. The reason why we found out later that it was due to a hart condition was when the Family sued SFGAM. SFGAM won, because she had a known hart condition. The parents knew about it and they still let her ride the ride.
