For all of you that frequent the tollway headed north to SFGAm and Gurnee Mills, you won't have to pay extra in tolls. The Tollway officially scrapped the idea of putting a tollbooth just south of Grand Ave.

Yeah Bob. It's fine if you are coming from Wisconsin which I believe you are.

People coming from Chicago or the southern suburbs don't really want to deal with Rte 41 going through all of Lake County.

Yeah I always take I-94 instead, even if I have to pay the $1. It is worth it, faster, and best of all no stop lights...

Before the toll was NORTH of Grande Ave. Now it's SOUTH of Grand Ave.
I unfortunatley live to the south of Grand Ave meaning now I and everyone south of SFGAm who would rather not take US 41 will get hit with an .80-$1 toll for non-IPASS users (like my family)

The article is stating that they are NOT going to move the toll south of Grand Ave and keep it where it is.

Some of you need to read the article before spouting off.

And no, this news didn't come 3 weeks ago. The Toll Authority just recently backed off from constructing this new plaza.
