not that I am aware of. because when we had the tour of the waterpark before it opened, the GM of SFGAM said he wanted the park to live up to its name Great America and right now it is good america saying that he wanted the park to live up to its full potental. so I do not think so. He would of hinted then.

But then agian next year we are getting a brand new sign so you never know, but I doubt it

No they did not change the name, where just so close to Chicago so the park is really considered in Chicago pretty much.

We basically are Six Flags Chicago. For example, SFMM is also known as Six Flags California.(They even have a sign out front.) But the park will remain Six Flags Great America. Don't worry about that.

Yea, they've said "Six Flags Chicago" for a while now. I remember past commercials saying that.

It's probably just for marketing purposes. Six Flags Great America isn't very descriptive now is it?

Every jumbled pile of person has a thinking part that wonders what the part that isn't thinking, isn't thinking of.

Alot of times on rides, the automatic spiels and the manual spiels, they just say Six Flags.

No reason for the Great America name to change. Heck, alot of people that live in the Chicago area just call it "Great America".
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.
