I really like it. It exceeded all of my expectations. I love the scenery around the Pink Flamingo/Beachcombers/Paradise Pizza. I love most of The slides. And with the crowdedness that I've seen so far, I'm guessing a lot of people agree with me. the only downside seems to be the long walk from the park. Plus, when you walk through SWT the Entrance really clashes with the rest of the theming.
But I think That they did a really good job with all the scenery as well.
What do you all think?
And What are your favorite slides?
I thought the park was simply amazing, it has great theming, great rides and a good wave pool cycle. It is huge and has good eating places to chose from.
Favorites:
1. Wahoo Racers
2. Blue speed slide
3. Dark blue slide on Hurricane Mountain (Lola, I think)
4. Green atomic bowl slide
5. The green family tube slide
6. The purple family tube slide
7. Purple speed slide
8. Teal and green on Hurricane Mountain
9. Pink atomic slide
10. The other 2 atomic slides (yellow is the better one)
11. Yellow one on Hurricane Mountain

HH completely exceeded my expectations. When i went to the park for the first time, it had changed a lot from when i had rode viper two weeks before. I like the detail of the park.. I don't know exactly my favorite slides in order, but i like them all.
I think it looks pretty awesome. I haven't tried out any of the slides yet though, or anything. I will on Thursday though. I can't wait, I'm excited. I think they did great with the scenery and buildings. I was amazed when I first walked into it. It also exceeded my expectations.

Amber, make sure you get to HH early enough. The waterpark has been hitting capacity with long waits to get in it. And with the warm weather we have been having...
But HH is great! I think the commercial I saw last night was bold in saying "The Best waterpark is right in your back yard."
My favorite slide is the blue body slide but all the slides are loads of fun.(Unlike all of those at nearby waterparks.)
I especially like the theming and intricate details. They also designed it well to have 2 main areas where familys will set as "base". Hopefully people won't be disappointed that they may have to wait to get in the waterpark.
I'll be the rebel here. HH is cool and nice but I'm not that impressed with it. They need to work out all the food problems. Open all the slides when HH opens. They also need to heat all the water. They need to open all the lazy river instead of half of it. I think it is ridiculous that you have to buy your own inner tube. On the other hand, the park is nice but In my opinion, Great America is 100x better.
It's green. It's blue. It's all over you! Enjoy your ride on Déjà Vu
Buy your own intertube? You can have loads of fun at HH without paying a dime extra than your admission. Have you even been there yet? And if not, how can you judge it?

So, why would you want a rental tube? They provide you with FREE tubes for the tube slides and lazy river. Hurricane Bay is more than enough fun without tubes. I fail to see why this is so apalling to you.

Yeah I know. I plan on waiting at the entrance when it opens at 11. I hope it's worth it.
Yeah, I don't know if we all went to the same park. Yes it looks nice and everything, but six flags sure has a way of making things run the opposite of smooth for their guest. Cedar Fair, owners of Cedar Point, definitely know what they are doing, and have been doing it very well for many years.
Honestly, tell me why there isn't a second entrance to the park? Like one so you can go straight in from the parking lot and straight back out. With the current entrance not only do you have to walk through the whole park to get there, but you can't just arrive in ur swimming gear, because that's not allowed in the park. Also, once you are wet if you are ready to just head out u have to get dressed so you can walk out of the park.
Also, 2 entrances to the lazy river. Now there's a bright idea. That person should be fired for that idea. You've got people waiting in a line at the second entrance for an innertube, waiting for people to get off of theirs for one to become available. Now, if this is the guests first time at the river they have no idea that there is another entrance. So they are standing there waiting and about 1 in every 25 innertubes that go by become available. This is because the people going by just go on! The second entrance should say emergency exit only, or at least not an entrance.
Having previously worked at the park for three years, in entertainment, I was appalled to see a supervisor hanging out with guests in the lazy river line. No he wasn't making sure they were having a good day, but rather he was pushing the innertubes and why the should buy one. Nobody asked him for that info. Are supervisors salesmen now too? Geez.
Yes, my rant will continue. Now I had friends betting with me as to whether the park would open on time or not. I fully believed it would, but there would be things overlooked or not working. Sure enough, the parking lot is still full of debris, a week later. Also, skull island, which makes up about 1/3 of the park, is still non-functioning.
What about the water heaters? Thankfully I was there on a day when it was near 90 degrees outside, so it was ok, but on a regular day that water was too cold. I know they said it would take a few days to heat the water but its been 2 weeks since they turned them on.
Even better, there were about 200, maybe 300 chairs for the whole park. At 11am there is a mad dash for these chairs and good luck trying to find more than one in a row or area if u are with more than one person. If you don't get one at 11 on the dot, you have to pretty much buy a locker. Again, six flags screws you. $8-10 for a locker. And they aren't even shaded or nice, they just like landed there.
I have one good thing to say though. With charging people for innertubes you don't have nearly as many innertubes in the wave pool. Not only does this allow for more people to be in the pool at the same time, without having to be on top of each other, but it also prevents a lot of people from constantly being bombarded by people on their tubes that are in their own little world.
I guess that's all for now, but I'm sure I'll come up with more. This was just my first visit.

First of all, Security, Second of all, what if someone doesnt want to go around the whole lazy river.
Actually if you read the whole post, you would note that I said it should be an emergency exit, for those that don't want to ride anymore obviously, or for bad weather. Or it should at least tell those that are waiting that it is not an entrance. Sunday there were about 75 people at 12pm waiting, and about 1 person every 5 minutes was getting a tube, at best.
You have described at best what I have seen at many waterparks. The adventure river at Noah's Ark has many entrances/exits. An yes, I waited awhile for a tube. It happens. Every waterpark I have ever been to, you have to rent a rental tube for the wave pool. Why should HH be any different?
Again. I didn't say anything about the lines being terrible and hating to wait in line. That's how it goes at these places, no big deal. What pissed me off was when people were waiting for a tube at a place where almost nobody was getting off and they had no idea that that wasn't the place to get on in a timely manner. There should have been a sign or something.
Also, I do not have a problem with them charging for innertubes, as I said, there actually was a benefit. Having a supervisor stand and try to sell them to people was an issue.
First of all, it wasn't a helpful suggestion. He was practically on a sales pitch. I think supervisors should have better things to do. Not to mention that a visiting family of 4 already paid over $180 just to get in for the day, most of them weren't in a hurry to drop another $30+ on tubes.
Second, it's "you're right", not "your right"....genius.

There if you want to go way off topic and be a grammar Nazi, and go way off topic, I will too. Nice use of bad Grammar :D
From a buisness perspective, what do you want them to do, Im sure tube rental brings in a pretty penny, that the yprobably need, sure its an inconvenience to those who can't afford it, but then why dont they just give away free funnel cakes and french fries to everyone, because you know, they already spent 45$ to get in.
First....bad grammar and short cuts are two different things. Shortcuts reflect laziness when writing so much, and bad grammar reflects intellect, or lack thereof. Also THEY don't need it, but rather the struggling six flags that neighbor ours need it.
I plan on going to SFGam at the end of this month and I have no intention of going to HH. It's not that I wouldn't like it, but I'm only going one day and I'd rather spend it riding the coasters.
Adventure, Excitement, Jedi Craves not these things.
