Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

Anyone know when? I went on Tuesday and saw plenty of people working on it, but I want to know if it will be ready by the time I go this weekend.

I have no idea either but I'm guessing it will open soon because everytime I go to HH, I always see the construction guys working hard on Skull Island. So my guess is it will open soon.
This is where I would usually put stuff. Can't think of anything right now... =/

I'm guessing within the next couple of days. On Friday they were clearing out construction stuff, cleaning off the deck, and added about hundred more beach chairs. The bottom of it was filled with water as well.

On Sunday everything was running and there were between 20-30 lifeguards around it but it still wasn't open. It will probably open sometime this week.

When I drove past on saturday and saw water running I was upset! We were SUPPOSED to go on Saturday and then other issues arised so we couldn't. When I thought skull island was operating I was really dissapointed. Looks like I didn't miss a thing then huh??

Well, I did see little kids running around in the water on Saturday evening just after 7. So my guess is that they opened up the bottom water play area and not the actual structure? The waterpark just closed at the time I noticed this.

I went today and it opened up later at about 2. The towers were opened but there were some areas that were roped off, but it is almost complete and every water feature seemed to be running.

I had an awesome time at the water park, I planned on taking pictures but I was having too much fun.
