Name Change

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

This may be useless info, but I wanted to see how creative everybody is. If you could change the name to any ride in the park, what would you change it to? I would change Giant Drop to Dead Man's Demise and Iron Wolf to Head Banger's Rebellion.

The AE is gonna be named after ME?! Oh, what an honor! :D NOT! I was only kidding about that. I'm satisfied with the name of that coaster the way it is. That way it'll keep its Marriott charm and be a patriot to the park. So how about waving a giant American flag on the top of the first hill and the helix?

Superman could be Hang Glider.

Raging Bull can be changed to Raging Pit Bull since the coaster is sadly starting to get rough.

And I would do anything to get rid of that Ice Mountain Splash name even if changing it back to Yankee Clipper.

Remove the 'wild' out of Jester's Wild Ride and plop in 'gentle' to better theme the ride.

And I personally call Demon the old 'Turn of the Century' name. It wouldn't hurt to retain the old former names.

Haha! Douglas?

Lets call Superman...Shockwave II. My friend has never ridden it and REFUSES to because they took Shockwave out for it. Maybe if they changed the name to number 2 he'll go on it.

Then lets call Ragin Cajun...NYC Subway. When you get off you feel like you just got mugged. (By the way thats just a stereotype subways arent that bad there).

Lets call Batman...Better Off Black. Two yellow coasters next to each other looks ridiculous, make that three including NYC Subway. The black track at night was so much better.

And yes, lets call American Eagle...Douglas.

Well besides calling American Eagle Douglas..I'd say change Superman to a horror theme and call it "The Devils Advocate." Also rename Sky Trek Tower to "The Pie In The Sky."

Also, I do not think that the 2 yellow rides clash at all. I personally thing Batman looks very good with the Yellow Paint. Yes it was nice black, but it was too dull.

I would change Raging Bull to Crazy Cow,Giant Drop to Elevator Drop, Batman the Ride to Mommy's Curse,Viper to Rattlesnake, and Ice Mountain Splash to Niagra Falls because of the splash.

My husband and I really like the idea of calling the American Eagle "Douglas". We've decided to have some t-shirts made up that say "DOUGLAS: THE RIDE"

I thought the coaster DID start to get rough the last time I rode it. It's probably either the track itself or the wheels to the train. One thing for sure is that the track could use a powerwash and maybe even a paint job. I noticed plenty of spots where the paint is starting to wear off.

Hey man, I happen to like a rough ride. You haven't had a proper roller coaster ride if you don't feel like you just had the living poop kicked out of you after your done. That's one reason I love the Boss at SF St. Louis. I rocks the heck out of ya.

I dare anyone to call Rajin' Cajun' the NYC subway or the cruel 'Shaken Baby Syndrome'. I'm not gonna be your moderator here.

Terror Twister (Chubasco) looks more like a rave club than a 'haunted ride' We can change that name to 'The Rave'.

The late Legend of Pigman (train ride) consists of three choices - Pointless, The Pits, or Just Plain Dull.

Raging Bull will be fine. It has seemed a little rougher in some of the other rows, but if it starts to get too rough they'll fix it, so don't worry. I wouldn't change any names, but I would add in some of the old theming to Demon.

V2-Flashing Bye (with the character Flash by it) and paint it red and yellow.
IW-Iron Werewolf Heee Heee J/k
Big Easy Balloons-Tweety's Flying Adventure (with tweety and slyvester on top of the balloons)

Condor-Robin's Highflying Act-I would probably move it by Batman instead of East River Crawler. I would move ERC where Condor is.
Whirlgig-Gotham City Crime Wave (SFOG, in case your wondering)
King Chaos-Riddler's revenge-painted green
Jester's Wild Ride-The most boring ride in the entire park. Ha Ha
Fiddler's Fling-Extreme Mayheim
Roaring Rapids-Blizzard River used with Penguin (SFKK)

That's about it for now. SF doesn't exploit the rights they have enough. They do it more in only the kiddie area besides BTR, and SUF.

I think that they should change Gaint Drop to Slim Jim The Ride.

In case you did not know, Slim Jim is a new sponser to the park, they have a sign up by Deja Vu's entrance.

I agree, except paint the bottom half yellow (like a slim jim rapper).Deja Vu would be Boomerang III. King Choas would be Mr.Topspin. V2 would be boring:the ride.
