Parking Pass Question

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

I plan on getting my season pass at the park on Thursday, and I want to get a parking pass with it. Is there any way to avoid paying the $10 on my first visit, since I plan on buying a parking pass as soon as I enter? Thanks.

You pay $10.00 and then you show them your receipt or whatever slip they give you and then you get $10.00 off of your $40.00 parking pass.

Parking passes are $40. When you pay the $10 parking to enter the park, bring your parking ticket stub to the season pass processing center and they will let you use it as a $10 deposit for the parking pass.

I.e. Without a parking ticket stub, you pay $40 for a parking pass.

With a parking ticket stub, you pay $30 + $10 (parking fee to enter park), for a total of $40.

EDIT: I'm too slow.

another question - If I already have a season pass, can I buy the parking pass by itself, or can you only buy it with a season pass? Thanks.

you can buy it separate. I'd show them the pass anyways, but you don't have to get your pass that day to get a parking pass.

You can buy the Parking Pass by itself. Earlier in the season, the Park Pass center was in the area outside of the Season Pass Processing center. There is a banner that says Parking Pass, or something of that nature, that tells you where to go.

Just an FYI.. you can buy multiple for a discount. Its $50+parking stub for 2 or $75+parking stub for 3.

I would guess no, since that's like taking two admission tickets and trying to upgrade to a season pass for free (or close to free). But it's definately worth asking. I'm kind of suprised they didn't make the price $38.00 or around there, since it only breaks even after 4 visits, but isn't necessarily a better deal until after 5.
