Weekday Attendance Inquiry

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

I have one question to ask. Is GAm crowded on weekdays? The reason why I ask is because I'm taking a trip to GAm on July 19th (a Tuesday) and I want to have an idea of what to expect (meaning whether or not I should purchase Fast Lane Passes).

A good place to start is checking the trip reports from 1 year ago. They give a fair assessment of how crowded could be.

If its a far trip for you buy fast lane regarldless if you can afford it. The list of rides is usually fair. I go all the time and would consider getting them some days.

Some please explain how rental tubes work at HH as a "fast lane". Or did I hear incorrectly?

Well, Maybe its like Noah's Ark, if you have a tube, you go into the main line, if you need a tube, because you didnt want to rent one, you can wait in a seperate line. Each ride will have SO MANY FREE tubes that can be used. but you wait in a special line to get a tube, and then enter the main line

just my guess, thats how Noah's ark was when i went

No, Tube rental is really just for wave pools. All the rides that require tubes have large piles of tubes outside of them. There won't be any problems with this, there are plenty of tubes.

Trust me, when the weather is a little warmer than 65F degrees, there won't be "piles of tubes". I also wouldn't be surprised to see waterpark capacity reached at least once this summer.

If you plan on going on a hot day get there early! I for one will not hesistate to rent a tube on those days.

Tuesdays and Thursdays are historically the least busy.
