For our physics class we are suppose to estimate how much weight a train is full with people. Then figure out how much horsepower the engine would need to drive the chain, that pulls the train up the hill.
I need a little estimating help on this!

well first, you need to estimate how many kg each person weighs, i'd say about 60 kgs. Then you need to probably get the mass of the train, I can't help you with that. Then you need to do the power equation p=w/t, and convert it to horsepower.
