Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

The loss of Viper Nachos is no big deal. It was a food stand. There really was no environment to it. Go over to Fiesta Fries and stop complaining, thos extra few steps will do you good.

Take a look at what Paramount did to its Great America park and you will appreciate what Six Flags has held onto.

Worrying about removal of food stands , etc. really doesn't equal the demise of the charm the park has.

As far as I am concerned, SF has balanced things out well with the GA park by keeping most of the main structures of the Marriott era intact and only removing certain things that are essential to the growth of the park.

It's a business people, not a museum and this is coming from a person who has been around long enough to see this park being constructed from the ground up(although I was a small fry) :)
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

I am sure that Viper's Nachos will be moved to that old shooting gallery. i heard that it will be adding more food choices as well.

What I am upset about is not so much as the removal of foodstands, is the decline in the quality of some of the food establishments such as Crazy Buffalo Saloon. It used to be a nice resturant and they turned it into a dump literally. I was there on saturday to see how it is. They had signs in the front where you can order at the front counter, then you place the order and then you find a seat to seat yourself. and I could not find a table to sit at. everything was dirty. the huge table behind me was not cleaned for over an hour. I left the resurant it still was not clean. and when they did clean the tables, they did not clean them right and they still had crums galore on them. I am not going back to Crazy Buffalo Saloon !

The new restaurant or "snack shack" at the old Shooting Gallery doesn't sound as if it will have many new food choices. Sounds just like the norm.
