speaking of the road under Eagle, did anyone else notice that the Washington St. gates were open Sunday? I'm sure there were blockades somewhere to stop people from using that as an entrance, but I thought that was interesting.
I don't have a detonator; its on a timer.
A countdown timer?
No, a count-up timer. It goes from one to explode.

Not if the pool is built for an addition of a Tornado for NEXT YEAR, the 2006 season. It makes sense, so they don't have to get heavy machinery onto the island around the (hopefully extensive) themeing. Rest assures, we will be getting a Tornado, just not this year, and I'm 99% sure that's where it's going to go.

That could be what it might be, but that wouldn't be till next year, who really cares for now, we got a new waterpark to go to first, then we'll find out.

At NCC this year, they said that they were going to make additions to the waterpark in 2006, that addition is kinda obvious that it will be a tornado, and it would only make sense to prepare a pool for it when they know it is going in during construction.

I think that they should add something before you go into the "tornado" part of the slide. It would make it a lot more fun.

Yea they'll definatly be adding something......not only is there the pool, there are also the pipes sticking up from the ground. And that looks like teh same size pool and space for a Tornado. If you look on the map there is also nothing in that area, so it makes total sense.

What are the possibilities of water coaster in the future?

Also, Six Flags is really bad @ taking pictures, that's just my opinion. There are probably way better places they could take pictures from, and what's with the picture of Hurrican Mountain, you can barely see anything interesting!

So I noticed in the first picture of the new Hurricane Harbor update...........there are some footers in the ground as well as a bunch of pipes. The stuff for the new Tornado slide to come!

The only reason that SFGAm did not put the Tornado in now is because they wanted something new for 2006, a new attraction that will attract more people and keep the people coming back to the waterpark. They already have the Tornado because they mass bought them for a discounted price from pro-slide.

I havn't ridden a Tornado but I can assume that it must be something very similar to what Stingray is at Noah's Ark. The first time you go up usually gives some good floating airtime but the rest is just kinda back and forth slower and slower, nothing overly special. They are very big though.

If you think May 28 is pushing it for opening day, XLC FM 102.3 is having one randomly selected family "test out" the new water park on May 25 during the Joe Show. Sign-up at the XLC website.

Yep, that will be media day.

I'll be there anyways, so I don't need to do this, but it should be pretty cool! Sign your families up! :D

I rode the one at PKI, after waiting way to long for it. I thought it sucked.

The ride's look cool so they draw big lines to it, and draw people to the park. But they aren't any better then your average run of the mill waterslide.

I couldn't miss school anyways so it doesn't matter. I honestly don't think I'll go to the waterpark more than twice for more than one hour.
