I know that waterparks are exciting to put in the park, but there are times when I think SFGAm should focus on the regular park more. Sometimes, I see waterparks as the easy way out especially for a place like SFKK, and SFStL.
I say this because these parks can stay stall for a few years (not getting new flats, or coasters) because they have a new "park" when they are the ones that really need the rides.
I'm not mad about getting a waterpark, but yet I feel that SF in general should worry about rollercoasters and flats more than water rides. I guess I'm more mad at SF for the above parks (not SFGAm).
In conclusion, I think a waterpark is great, but at the same time it can be a disadvantage to the regular park for places like SFKK, and SFStL.
Now with regards to the Tornado, I think SFGAm will change it up after our park is built. You have to remember that SFGAm likes to have firsts. It also depends on its continous popularity at a place like SFMM. I don't think the Tornado looks that great to begin with. Lastly, I want to add that I don't think this free admission thing will last more than a year.
"I've been staring at the world, waiting. All the trouble and all the pain we're facing. Too much light to be livin' in the dark. Why waste time? We only got one life. Together we can be the CHANGE. So go and let your heart burn bright"
Why don't you think that they'll keep free admission? I think they will, because if any of the general public go to the park this year then they will be expecting free admission for the next year.
Does anyone wish that there was more than one webcam up to watch the costruction? I mean on bad weather days you can barely see the other side of the water park and what is going on! It would have been smart to put a webcam on Viper somewhere too, so there would be two ways to look at teh construction.
considering the park has never put up a webcam watching construction before, I'd say what we've got is fanfreakingtastic and the only thing I could wish is for the park to continue to put up webcams for future construction projects.
I don't have a detonator; its on a timer.
A countdown timer?
No, a count-up timer. It goes from one to explode.
i really dont think there is going to be an entrance by SSA but i think there is definatley going to be one by RB, becuase the waterpark is right over there
Slide pieces should start shooting up soon. I am really starting to get excited for this. Skull island digging is starting and most of the supports have been started on.

They sure are goingto town on the one closest to the camera, which should either be Hurricane Mtn. or the racing slides.
It's really starting to take shape!
In the last few weeks they've really kicked construction up a notch. Just look at the latest timelapse. It's really going to be huge. A big advancement for the park!
You cant say that they have kicked construction up a knotch, all they are doing different now is building aboveground structures. For the past 5 months they have been clearing, grading, pouring concreat, laying pipelines, digging, assembeling waterslides, pouring footers, assembling pumps, building the lazy river, building the splashdown pools, making the wavepool. Yeah, I guess they have been slacking off the past few months.
Last night (friday, 3/25) the first slide sections were put in place, you can see them on the webcam, and I saw them with my own eyes today (more in a TR either on this board or the TR board (still deciding as technically it's not a TR, but it is, strange)
