Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

Did anyone read the descriptions of the new shows. If so what do you think the shows will be like. I think that the new magic show will be stupid but it is a show for the younger crowd. I dont know about the ice skating show. Im not fond of ice skating but Ill see it once just to see what its like. The latino circus. Im sick of circus' I want that western show to come back. I wish that Radioactive or American Rock was back for this year becaus eI have never seen them before. Ive heard from my family and friends that it is good. Its too late to complain now.

I liked that western show but I agree that the batman show was better. If that did come back they couldnt put it in the southwest ampitheater.

I don't really care about the shows... I don't think I've ever gone to one lol. Closest to a show I've gotten is the Pictorium!

I've yet to enter the Grand Music Hall, every other place though ive seen a show at. Here are my opinions(if anyone cares) of the shows ive seen at SFGAm(that I can remember):The IMAX films I have seen are all educational and crappy, and I usually leave 5-10 minutes into them lol.The Batman Stunt Show was just awesome, I got to see it again at SFWoA last year and was so happy to see Batman hang glide over the crowd lol. I was like a little kid again. The original Southwest Stunt Show was pretty good too, the second version was pretty bad however. The Great Russian Circus I thought was alright, I actually stayed and watched the whole show. I can't say the same about the Chinesse acrobats, they messed up there little tricks more than they pulled them off during the half of show I stuck around for. Id rather see lots of explosions over people juggling while jumping rope any day, so I hope they bring back a stunt show next year.Ive seen 2 shows in Theatre Royale before, the Dexters Labotory show they had there a few years ago and the Magic one they had last year. The Dexters Labatory show was nice to go to on hot days, since they sprayed water onto the crowd at one point during the show. Thats all I remember about that show. The Magic show looked alright from the back row but from the front row you could see how bad some of the tricks were lol.

cd316 you should go see LaFF also. Its a good musical. These are all the shows I remember seeing:Grand Music Hall- LaFF thats good. I wish I saw American Rock and Radioactive. I heard they were good.Theater Royale- I dont remember what it was called but it was some looney tunes show. That was a long time ago but I remember liking it. I saw all the magic shows. They were okay. That hypnotist show that was there in Fright Fest. That show was good. Its full of humor. Its coming back this year yay!.Southwest Ampitheater- I saw both the western shows. The forst one was the good one. The russian and the chinese circus I didnt like. Now theres going to be some mexican circus. I dont want another circus.I remember seeing the Batman show but I dont really remember much except that I liked it.

The last year for it I belive was 95, because the theme didn't go with Southwest territory. Oh how I miss it :( . I did see it in 98 at MM. It also seems that every park has it. Coasterdude316 mentioned he saw it at SfWoA, and I noticed it was at SfOg this past April, sadly it wasn't open yet.

yeah... i went to go see Cold Fusion today and it wasnt all that bad...well, 100 times better than Merlin!!! but i would have definatley prefered Radio Active back since ive never seen it  . its only skating and music, no singing, and the performers are all very serious(they concentrate toooo much!), anyway...in my opinion its the type of show I'D see once in a while if i feel like it, not a "OMG i missed the show!!!" type of show..lol  .....but i would strongly caution bringing little kids in there(not like they'd remember anyway) but the costumes are very in apropriate combined with the choreography.....those of you who have been in the theater for American Rock, Radio Active, or Love At First Fright....be prepared for a completley new look!!! All in all...not bad, maybe i'll see it a couple more times.....when or if anyone decides to see it.....give me your opinions!

The hypnotist(sp?) during frightfest is a great show. Especially if you go to the last show which is geared towards an older(not little kids) crowd. It was so funny last year when we saw it, my mother was brought up on stage and we got the tape of it.Love at first fright is a great show.Adrenaline Rush is interesting. It's not as informative as some shows. It's got some great aerial footage of skydivers which is what the show is about. To the Limit was horribly boring last year. I wouldn't go and see the show unless its really hot out and you dont feel like getting soaked. That's the best part about the Pictorium, AIR CONDITIONING!The magic show this year is REALLY bad.I'm surprised that SF didn't go to a Superman show this year. When Batman was built they had the first stuntshow. Then when SW Territory was built they switched to the SW Stuntshow. Watch out for it in the next few years. Maybe there will be some explosions in it for CoasterDude.
you can't believe it - you didn't mean it
but they saw you do it and they know your name

Just curious when you say that you would strongly caution against bringing little kids in there. Why? I have as yet to see the show but I definitely plan to see it, and I was planning to take the kids of course. If anyone else has any input feel free to chime in also. :)

Yeah, I've been going to the hypnotist show for like the past 10 years. It's a great show. One time, my aunt went up there and she danced like a ballerina. It was hillarious!

I have yet to see Cold Fusion and Espana Extreme(which opens this coming Saturday). I won't even venture into Merlin's Magicademy(unless my little cousin wants to see it on July 4th). If you look in the Park Guide, there appears to be a group of men and women on skates in the Spectacular Shows section. The men appear to be in white tuxedos, and the women look as if they skated over to Chicago from their Las Vegas act. But, that photograph may not be from a Cold Fusion show. Also, I would recommend that you go to see Adrenaline Rush in the lines are long or if it's an extremely hot afternoon. The film itself is not something you can't find on cable/satellite, and I was about to walk out when the film was turning a biology/chemistry lecture.

FamilyGuy- you can bring your kids but just dont sit too close to the stage. The women skaters wear skimpy outfits.

yeah....you can bring them, but the outfits are really skimpy (lets say near the top and bottom) the costumes would be ok if the choreography wasnt so sexual.....but if you look in the park map at the picture of the show...the costumes are very similar to it, and some of the costumes are worse! all in all...its really not that bad of a show....but like i said i would have prefereed RadioActive or American Rock back!
