and here's another one i had found. This guy Eric H. Meyer had done some stuff with it, and it gives us a 2002 recording of all of the songs and some of the dialouge from the show.
I checked google for these links, and if anyone wants to research LAFF anymore, which you may or may not want to do, you can use google, and type in +love +at +first +fright -murderdolls +six +flags +great +america
the pluses help find pages with all of those words in it, but you have to do the minus murderdolls, or a bunch of lyrics to this song from the Murderdolls will come up.
It has been far too long since I've posted here, my friends. what up IH8 and BEAST! You know I love you, gangsters! At any rate, I've been getting ready for auditions already. Watching the tapes to learn all those "killer dance moves". How DO those monsters shake it like that? I'm also working on some audition songs. When are tryouts, because I know I'm going to own the place. All I can say is, the cast from this year was pretty good, but they'd better watch there backs, because there's a new kid in town. I guess I'll see all of you from on stage next year! It'll be so much fun to actually TALK to the actors instead of speculate about them on here! I cant wait!!!!!
LAFFJUNKIE!!
I can't believe it's really you! I'm totally going to sneak in to auditions now! I heard that they might try to close them again this year...has anyone here been to just watch? Do you get to talk to the actors when they're done? I got in one year...1999 I think, for the Country Show. They didn't seem happy to see me, since I wasn't trying out.
Anyhoo...How have you been, LAFFJUNKIE? So you got the DVD too, huh? Did you see how during Over at the Frankenstein Place, the bats in the tree branches were off beat? That probably only happened once the whole year (I watched the lights a lot), and I got it on tape!
Love ya, babe! Toodles!
I can't wait to audition this year. Does anyone know when they are auditioning for Love at First? Do you audition during the spring auditions or sometime during the summer? Who can you call to find out?
Well, well, well...doesn't somebody sound confident?! All I have to say is...watch your back!! Cause I will so be there to put you to shame!! Boo-Yah!! Let's just say I've got a little something special up my sleeve...
Eh.
It's the atmoshpere that I think people are most attracted to. If you don't like campy with lots of plot holes, you won't like LAFF. But all are welcome!
So here's an interesting thought....I was just wondering if anyone had heard any rumors about dating within the cast at all? I heard somewhere that hag and frankie from last year were a couple, maybe that's the mother of his kid that everyone was talking about...who knows. Any other info?
i agree with LAFFfan, its kinda personal, we really shouldnt care about our personal lives. thats for them and only them. not that i'm telling people what to do or anything...
ok, i know this thing is pretty much dead, but I just wanted to let the big fans of LAFF know that I created some aol instant messenger themes a few weeks ago, and you can download them and check them out if you want to. you can go to mytheme.com and in the aim expression box u can type either draky or Love at first fright, or you can use these links.
People, we cannot let the memory of laff die....if we do, then what kind of fans are we? Let's keep this message board interesting, fresh, and chock-full of laff-loving good times, how 'bout it?
Just let the thread die ok it can't last forever. It has gotten so old anyways, and not to mention Fright Fest has been over for 3 months. Love At First Fright is a good show yes, but this thread is not good anymore just stop trying to bring back no one cares how much you love the show keep it to yourself then.
Wow, last time I checked, negativity was unecessary and completely out of place in here. If this thread is so dead, then answer me this: why are you still checking it? It must be awesome being so cool, with your rockin' chicago buills icon, but do us all a favor and butt out. What do you care if we like the show? And who do you think you are telling us what we can and cannot post? I think it's YOU who needs to get the life, buddy. LAFF FOREVER
I believe we all have the freedom to say what we want about a SFgam topic, and if it has no significance to you, then I think you should simply not view it.
I have to agree, LAFF was a fantastic show. The singing and choreography was fantastic. Being an actor myself, I really enjoyed this musical. The special effects and sets were great for an amusement park show!
Just let us have our thread, and you have yours. I don't understand what the point of bugging us about it is, because we're not going to stop posting no matter what u say
