I got out of school Monday a half hour early, but I got home at the normal time because I had to scrap off my windows of the 1 inch layer of ice (no joke) then try and drive home in it.

Lots of snow+Japenese car+no ABS

=

PROBLEMSSSS!!!

Here in Wisconsin they have been advertising tonight's snow as like the snow storm of the century. Just one problem, it was supposted to start about 2 hours ago and it's barely flurrying out right now...

I got a snow day. I really wanted to go to school, but I guess it's nice to get a day off now and then.

Anyways, more snow is on it's way and right now the snow is drifting.

Also, we got ou of school 5 minutes early on Monday to srape off ice and to give more driving time in the ice. To think, if they didsn't give us any extra time, some of the idiots at my school would have just left with the ice still on their car.

I got out at 2:00 today, an hour and 20 minutes early, but there was basically nothing on the ground. The roads weren't even that slick, but oh well, i'm not complaining. I'm further south than everyone else, so that's why we didn't get a snow day.

We've probably gotten about 8 inches, but we had no snow days down here.

I got a snow day today and there's less than an inch of snow on the ground, and also no wind. We could've definitely gone to school today, but I'm not complaining.

Bleh, no snow day for me. I ended up having to go to work (got stuck in the driveway first) then had to sit at work for 4 hours with no customers making 3.15 an hour. Enjoy the run on sentence.

Well, I'm a tipped employee. So, my wage never did increase but most of the time it works out for the better. I average 15-16 dollars an hour on a normal afternoon. On holidays I can make 20.00 an hour.

Man you guys only had an inch on the ground and got a snow day? Do you own shovels down there in Illinois or what? I was graced with around 9 inches in the past 24 hours and still had to come to school today. Again driving really sucked and was incredibally slippery.

Actually, my city(Rockford) got up around 9-12 inches. The roads sounded like they were alright though. I think they were just being cautious keeping us off of school.

I heard Gurnee got 14 inches! WGN made it sound like that was the most snow recorded for this storm.

Man, now I got to go back to school tomorrow.

My Aunt and Uncle live right outside of Gurnee and they said they had about 7 inches before dinner last night! And were expected to get another 7!
