So those of you who already ordered adn got your 2005 season pass. which says should include hurricane harbor. does yours look like the standard 2005 pass? cause i got mine and it looks like a NORMAL 2005 Pass. but the website said it would include hurricane harbor when i ordered it.

This is what my season pass looks like. Its supposed to include hurricane harbor. i was assuming that it would say COMBO pass Or Premium Pass. How are the people at the Hurricane Harbor gate gonna know. Are OUR season pass numbers also gonna be entered into the Hurricane Harbore System?

My 2005 Six Flags Great America/Hurricane Harbor season pass looks the same way. I wouldn't worry about it, it will get you into both parks.

I thought that they weren't going to make it seperate admission afterall. I was led to believe that the waterpark would now be connected to the main park. Maybe that would be the reason for the pass looking like a normal pass?

It's looking obvious that both parks will be included with admission and season passes permanently so having a normal looking pass will be fine.

I am thinking the general admission will be raised by 2 or 3 bucks.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

Really? I think that if they go with single admission, we're going to see general admission go up to $49.99... now, I think they can get it, but it'll just hurt the people who go once in a while, like my friends who come with me when I go with my season pass.

Its gonna be a Seperate Gate Admittion. It will have it's own Plaza. Seperate Admittion and Season Pass..

Im not sure if they will put a GATE inside the park as well, for those with Combo passes or Season passes which include Hurricane Harbor.

After Dec 31st. they will be selling the SfSP and a seperate HHseason pass. and probably a COMBO or Premium pass. thats what the other Hurricane Harbors Do.

they will be posting Pricing for SFGA and SFHH soon, (says sfga website) so that will tell us the real truth, cause watch me be wrong lol)

This was in the september newws release " Six Flags Hurricane Harbor will have its own entrance plaza and admission, separate from the theme park. Ticket information, operating hours and season pass information will be available soon by visiting sixflags.com."

now i dont think they would just make HH part of the park, they would loose so much money. they would have to raise regular park admittion and that would be unfair to those who dont ever want to go to the waterpark.

Lets count how many times i spelled admisson WRONG!!!! lol

raising park admission by 2 or 3 dollars will NOT PAY COVER HH COSTS. i personally think they would have to shut down HH due to costs if it didnt have seperate Admission Plaze and Seperate Pricing.

When they first announced hurricane harbor. the pricing and season pass was the same as SFGA it was SFGA 44.95 general admission and season pass 84.95 and HH was 44.95 general admission and season pass was 84.95.

im guessing thats what it will be. if not HH be cheaper

Alright how much do you actually understand about how to earn money? Most new investments do not pay for themselves the first year, yet there is still some that take years to pay their selves off. This is a long-term project not a short term project, just as Six Flags said on the first conference call, that they would not make profit the first year, but expect to cover the cost in the second year. If you look at the facts...Hurricane Harbor is an addition in the upper 35million range! The closet comparison is Top Thrill Dragster at Cedar Point with an addition of 25million. As I may recall Cedar Point raised their prices by 2-3 dollars, and did not add attraction the following year. If Six Flags Great America raise price up to six or seven dollars and does not add an attraction the following year, you have profit. It is very practical to make it one price admission because most profits are made in in-park spending.

YA BUT IS THAT REALLY FAIR TO THOSE WHO DONT ****EVER**** PLAN ON GOING TO HURRICANE HARBOR? 2ND, IF HURRICANE HARBOR WAS GONNA ALWAYS BE FREE WITH A SEASON PASS OR GREAT AMERICA GENERAL ADMISSION. THEN WHY DOES SIX FLAGS.COM SAY AND THE COMMERCIAL SAYS IF YOU BUY YOUR PASS BEFORE DEC 31 YOU GET HURRICANE HARBOR INCLUDED FREE????????? CALL THE SEASON PASS HOTLINE (847) 249-1800 IT TELLS YOU THAT YOU NEED TO BUY YOUR PASS BEFORE DEC 31 TO GET HURRICANE HARBOR FREE. THAT IN ITSELF TELLS YOU THAT YOU HAVE TO BUY A SEPERATE PASS AND PAY SEPERATE ADMISSION TO GET INTO HURRICANE HARBOR. WHICH THEN TELLS YOU THAT THERE MOST LIKELY WILL BE A SEPERATE GATE!!!!!!

I CALLED AND IT SAYS "GO NOW TO SIXFLAGS.COM TO GET YOUR SEASON PASS AT THE LOWEST PRICE OF THE SEASON. AND BUY IT NOW!!! AND YOU WILL GET HURRICANE HARBOR FREE" SO THAT TELLS ME THERE WILL BE A SEPERATE GATE, SEPERATE ADMISSION.

Stop yelling, Get HH free is just a way to ease confusion on the general public. Is it fair that they raise prices for any ride addition even if they are not going to ride it? I do not see how it is not any different.

Techno, When they say free it could be marketing letting customers know that if they buy the pass now they wouldn't be paying the upcharge after years end for HH. When the year is over they could be(most likely) raising the season pass price from last year to include HH. It might not be that much but it will be something. Also some customers may be new to buying season passes and dont know that there is always a discount on season passes before the new season starts. There are all sorts of answers as to why they are promoting the season passes this way.

Also when they decided to change it to one season pass it told us that it was going to be one season pass/one park admission. Wasn't each individual pass for each park the same amount? So why would they offer a 50% discount before season pass sales are in full swing. I would understand if we were in April and they sold half the amount of season passes they did last year. But they were 2 weeks into sales, which started early, and they changed the price.

Plus, some well informed members here have friends who work in the park. We just have to wait and see who is right.

After the first of the year, Hoffman said, the park expects to release new information on the cost of season passes and whether water park tickets will be sold separately from theme park tickets, which cost $41.99 for an adult last season.

Alright, first very few know (management) whether it is a single admission or two parks. Those who do know will NOT tell anyone until they have the permission to. Also, for your information, the people at Customer Service, even in Human Resources have no clue what is going on with this waterpark. What they told you is what they THINK, not what is true.

Also, it says to get your pass before December 31 to get THE LOWEST PRICE OF THE SEASON. No where does it state that Hurricane Harbor will not be free after this date. All it says is:
GET THE LOWEST PRICE OF THE SEASON!

LIMITED TIME OFFER!

ONLY A LIMITED NUMBER OF PASSES WILL BE SOLD AT THIS PRICE!
A Season Pass allows you unlimited park visits on regular operating days during the 2005 Season and includes Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Chicago! Once your Six Flags Great America pass is processed at Six Flags Great America, your pass may be used at Six Flags Theme Parks worldwide, including Six Flags St. Louis, plus these select Six Flags Properties: Wild Waves/Enchanted Village, The Great Escape, La Ronde and Wyandot Lake. Not valid at waterparks or Frontier City/White Water Bay. Children three and under are free at Six Flags Great America.

Theres a sign outside of the closed washington street enterence that says FREE water park with season pass. I dont know if it has a seperate admission price if you go without a season pass, or if it'll be free for everyone, but I am %100 sure that they are only selling one season pass for the whole resort.

Just an FYI for everyone. The parking pass is now $30.00(down from last years $40.00.) I don't know if this is a limited time offer or what, but when I ordered my 2005 season pass, I also ordered the parking pass for the $30.00.

Can you order the parking pass online? I never saw that option on their webpage. That's awesome that it went down... that little baby saved me $390 last year
