i agree with u she sounds like shes 17 years old and no ur not allowed to tape it but some people get away with it. last saturday they had two people taping it but it was by cast request
r u sure ur not allowed to tape it? i kno so many ppl who have taped and gotten away with it, but if u r 100% sure ur not allowed to then i'll tell them next time. u kno, i think sfgam would make soooooo much money if they made a soundtrack or vid of LAFF and then sold it to the public. neone wit me on that?
I would buy a video of it. We've been going to Fright Fest for most of the 14 years it's been around and to tell you the truth this was our 1st year to venture into LAFF! We loved it though. We have now seen it 3 times this season.
No they do allow you to tape. In every show there are peopole taping. My dad has taped it every year we went and I have freinds who have been doing it since the mid 90s. If they didnt want you to tape then they would have a recording saying so.
She sings good but when you sing like youre 5 it tends to get annoying. Ghostina is the character name. I dont think her name is mentioned in it but thats the name.
hey! leave ghostina alone! thats my fav character and, u can ask ne of my friends, i get SO personaly offended when ppl say mean stuffs about her! oh wellz, i'm not THAT mad since i agree, she sings through her nose but i still luv her voice
I kinda agree, Ghostina's voice is a bit high, but it doesn't really bug me too much. As far as recording the show, you probably aren't supposed to, since like two years ago they did have a recorded message saying no video cameras, but they aren't strict about it. I'd love a video copy, I just have a screwed up audio CD, which we have to rerecord. If someone is willing to make videos of the show, send me a message, because i would definetly be interested!
OMG!!! I totally got to meet the Cast today!!!! IT ROCKED!! I almost peed my pants!!! As I was walking out of GMH (Grand Music Hall) One of the cast members (David) noticed me and pulled me aside...ok let me tell you ppl something....The Cast Rules!! hey gang,
I took lots of pictures of LAFF and of the parade with the cast today (10/23), so I'm getting them developed, and I'll post the website tomorrow. Also, I was informed that our castmate Jack (his name is Josh if you haven't been paying attention) is letting my friend and I go backstage to take pictures on Halloween. So I'll get those developed when I get a chance. If anyone is selling a this season tape of the show, give me prices, and maybe I'll trade an audio CD or some good pictures that I'm not putting on my mini site to ya, or even the originals. We'll see how things go, and my email and AIM screen name is attached in that toolbar on the posts. Love to chat with anyone there on 10/23, especially about the skipping music during the parade preshow (oops...lol). So IM or email me, and I'll get back to ya on that.
My sister got a picture with Justin who played Frankie last year and Wolfie the year before. She got a picture with him when he was he had some of his costume off but his make up will still on. She got it about 10 minutes after the show was over I think. She has the picture blown up and its hanging in her room.
Hey gang,
I wanted to clarify the videotaping thing. On Saturday, there were at least two people taping the show, one was on the left side of the cat walk, right in the row in front of the front of the cat walk. Another person was right in front of the catwalk, and the cast saw them the entire time and nothing was said. I took pictures, and I had no problems either. I think flash photograhy would be a problem, because two years ago, one of the cast members fell backwards and broke his ankle in the last show because of flash photography. I just covered my flash, and the pictures turned out ok. I got good ones of the parade of Frankenstien, Dracula, and of Jack. I'll put up a link once my friend emails me the scanned pictures.
Those are the two galleries of pictures i took on 10/23. The ones from the show didn't turn out the best, but the ones from the parade, which are only three pictures are good. I'll maybe have more for you the week after fright fest ends, but that's what I got now..
theres also a funny pic of david and cute pics of josh on that site to and i had the cutest pose from david during love potion number 9 when hes leaning on the tombstone and he looked directly at the camera and josh winked at us and we tried to get a pic of it
igore: walk this way
Katie: talk this way
Igore: now give me a kiss
katie: don't push it
nice pics! i really cant take ne because my camera's all messed up but i got some really good ones from last years show, too bad they arent digital and i still dont kno how to use the scanner... oh wellz!
Hey all,
I'm new to this board, but not to LAFF. I've seen it a bunch of times with friends and family over the years, but I've never experienced, in me or in other people, the strange reaction that you all seem to. What is it about this show that has you all hooked? It's just a theme park musical, for smack's sake! Am I missing something? Is it the cast? I thought they were different from year to year. Do the jokes change that much from season to season that it's kept fresh enough to warrent numerous return visits? Someone please explain to me! LAFFJUNKIE, help me out? Your sceen name seems to label you as one of those who might know. Seems to label you as...a Groupie!

It wasnt because of a picture. He was walking backwards up the stairs for that You Bring Out the Beast song and his foot slipped. If you saw his face you could tell he was in a lot of pain but it was still funny. So he walked off and didnt finish the show. It sucked because it was the last show and a lot of us "groupies" were going to hold up Sponge Bob dolls after Time Warp since he had fun with that part.
On the season pass section of SFGAms oficial site they have a picture of Witchie, Bride and Dracula from 2 years ago.

I love Love at first fright because of everything. The music is great, the characters are cool, the actors are awesome, the jokes kill me, the choreography is killer....I just love the script too, it's got something to it. I don't know, everything just rocks
I guess I just don't get being a groupie. Weird. I've been to shows where people literally sprint into the theater! Is it worth running? The seats aren't going to move!
On a different note, who was there on saturday when the parade music skipped? I thought that was really well-handled, starting the route loop right away!
How long have all of you been going to the show? It's been going for 14 years. Anyone been there every year? Anyone thinking of auditioning?
