Six Flags Soundtracks

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
Postby mr. dejavu on October 15th, 2004, 9:21 pm
This is three questions in one:

1. My teacher was playing the FF theme is class. I asked her where she got it and she said it was the movie "Halloween" soundtrack. Is this true?

2. Do the Vengaboys sell CD/ Tapes with the Mr. Six song on it still?

3. Does Six Flags sell CDs. One of my friends said they do, but he's not so trustworthy. (Drkstarboard) .

Thanks

1. The FF theme could very possibly be on that soundtrack.

2. I don't remember ever hearing about them selling CDs/tapes.

3. Not that I know of.

1. Yes, The "Fright Fest theme" is the Halloween theme song, so it is on the album(Multiple times).

2. I'm not sure if the Venga Boys still have the cd out from "We like to Party", but I know that there at least once was.(I have it from 1999.) I would check Media Play or Best Buy, etc.

3. I have never heard of/or seen Six Flags selling cds at the park.(They could though.)

Nah they don't sell the Halloween theme in the store.

Also to the person wondering about Vengaboys CD still being sold, I would stay clear of buying the entire CD for just one song, you might just want to buy the single song for 99 cents and burn it onto a CD (legally). I know they have it on iTunes, not sure about other services though.

There is also a version of the Halloween theme available on iTunes... like a dance version (lol) by "Empire State Human"-- worth checking out for a dollar :)

Is it just me, or would it be cool if SFGA compiled a CD/Tape with all the noises of the rides and sections of the park on it?

I bought the "Halloween" Soundtrack at Media Play about a year ago, so I would check their website or someone elses.

Enough with Venga Boys already.

Aren't we forgetting the traditional park music? I like it a lot better.

1. Yes, though it's a bit different, with an extra drum beat added in, though it's not hard to find.

2. Dont waste money, DL WinMX, it's not bundled with any spyware, adware or malware which is nice, use that do find and DL the song (WinMX is a very close napster clone, website is http://www.winmx.com

3. Yes, they do sell CD's but not with park music on them, they are standard CD's you'd find at say best buy exept at 3X the price.

Also whenever I am logged onto WinMX the regular park music can be found(even the stuff they dont play anymore) :)

I didn't say anything about Six Flags selling cd's. YOU said it would be cool if they did. Also. I am not untrustworthy.

Then why did I see the Halloween soundtrack in Best Buy the other day.

Its very easy to find. And if for some reason you cant find it at a store, you can get it on amazon.

Does anyone know which song they play in the bumper cars? I know it's "Let the Bodies Hit the Floor" but is it Eminem or Drowning Pool or something else?

It's Drowning Pool. I also have the music from Fright Fest. The original Demon song in it's entirety and I have the Southwest Scaritory music. I don't have the Halloween trck yet but I'm working on it. I got the Demon and southwest scaritory off of Audio Galaxy.

The park soundtrack is not just one song from the Halloween soundtrack, but a mix of about five of them. Good luck figuring out exactly what ones they are after you get the CDs though, as most of the soundtrack is extremely similar.

Has anyone figured out the songs for Hellevator or Terror Twister's soundtracks? They both seem to be very long...

For Terror Twister's Da Rude Song, "Sandstorm", you just have to look for one of his albums. Kinda hard to find but look on Ebay. He has some other good songs to.

The Halloween soundtrack is available....I bought mine about 7 years ago.... (I'm a fan of blasting it on my front porch on Halloween). The soundtrack becomes "more" available if that makes sense, around Halloween for obvious reasons. Still gives me chills everytime I hit play.

The entire Vengaboys CD is relatively good. You have to like that kind of music though. Being a clubkid myself...I was, as was everyone else, In love with the Vengaboys at a time....about 1999.

They broke up a year or two ago...kinda depressing. Although I was able to see them perform at Zero Gravity when they were "big"...wow, was that a long time ago. The one guy was kinda hot....thats all I remember. Ha!

FYI- hope that helps a little

One year they played "for whom the bell tolls" by Metallica in Terror Twister.

Whoa, I just noticed you're out of New Berlin WI...

I just graduated from West last year and am in Milwaukee, if you could maybe burn me a CD with all those mp3's on it i'd *greatly* appreciate it, as I have a mailbox/family in New Berlin and it'd be easy to drop off. If not thats cool too, it's just very strange to see somebody from NB :)
