[color=cyan] I spent a wonderful day at Great America this past Sunday. We were able to ride every major coaster, with the exception of Deja Vu. I had told our group that although it was running, we should save it for the end of the day because it so often shuts down that much time can be wasted in its line. Anyway, around 4PM we passed by Deja Vu and I noticed that the ride was not operating, and that the queue line was empty. Needless to say, that was it for the day and we finished the night with a wild ride on Ragin' Cajun. Here is my suggestion: the park should remove this ride as its operation is sporadic at best. They could bring back the Z-Force; it would fit there, it would be a "blast from the past", and it would be rescued from its utter abandonment at Magic Mountain. Does anyone else agree?
There is a reason why Flashback(Z-Force) doesn't run at SfMM. Well, there are a million. But one reason is that the ride is very uncomfortable, and the guests wouldn't want to ride it even though it was open.
Welcome to the boards! And yes, DejaVu is awesome, but it was probably just shut down early due to staffing issues.
Oh yeah, Flashback (AKA Z-Force) would be a great alternative to Deja-Vu.
As mentioned, the ride closed due to staffing. Didn't you notice that the entrance was shut down but the ride was still operating with people on it? They were letting people ride that were already in line when they closed the entrance.
Closing.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.
