Listen to Papas. 5 years won't be the answer to your question. Unless you live the rest of eternity, you will never know. Kinda weird huh? Doesn't that get the lightbulbs working?

Some people know but they aren't able to tell, or they will lose and be hated by family members.

I don't really like to focus on Cedar Point. in my opinion: Bigger, Faster, Taller, or Longer was not my reason to ever take a trip to that park. Personally, I'd rather be at a sf park than cp.

Besides, how much speed and inverting can you actually do on a flying coaster w/o making the rider uncomfortable. That's why superman is the way it is.

Does B&M make shuttle loop coasters? That's something Great America could have space for.

It doesn't the ride just uncomfortable, it would also make it boring. How many different inversions can you do on a flying coaster? I dont think you would be able to do a loop or Cobra Roll.

We should have waited for a flying coaster with better inversions, and more height.

I dont know how we got on the topic of footers and stuff,
but on X, they built 80 foot deep footers to support the 200 foot tall supports. They needed to go deeper because the weight of the trains and the forces on the support structure.

No offense floorless lovers, BUT WHY IN THE HECK WOULD WE WANT A FLOORLESS NEXT YEAR? I really like scream and medusa dont get me wronge, but they wouldnt help the park at all. There just 60 miles per hour looping coasters. Besides being smoothe and having no floor (OOOOOOHHHH  AAAAHHHHH) , there the most basic coaster a park could ever invest in and thats why scream aint that good. I can allready tell that once we get it the lines wont be tat long and the people on this boards will complain about its landscaping or sumthin, and allready be talkin about what the next ride might be. The way I see it, this ride would just slow us down from getting a good, inovative coaster that gam deserves.

Once we see what great adventure gets, we'll want that. I think its safe to say that its either a B&M, Premier, or most likely an intamin rocket coaster. This will deffinatly up the chances of us getting what they're getting and I'm all for it. I wish we would get a 4d, or a crazy @$$ compressed air-launcched 4D. Its not that unlikely because X is operating great now and all the glitches are out, words dont even describe how crazy the ride would be and how big of a draw it'll be, and arrow dynamics and s&s are teaming up to design one. Thyre combining hypersonic and X.

I can tell you why, because floorless coasters are serious people movers, which is one thing i think Great America lacks. I know some people may not like my opinion, but when the GP sees a shiny new ride that goes up-side down, they are going to want to go to it. If Iron Wolf gets repainted, I bet you will see longer lines for it the next year.

^I agree with you there, in my opinion we have Raging Bull and Batman that can move people quickly. Don't throw capacity numbers at me for Superman or anything else because the lines still move quite slowly and we all know loading can take a long time.

Hate to burst your bubble here, but X isn't operating great and still runs only one train a day usually and the only reason that Arrow Dynamics and S&S are working together is because Arrow went bankrupt and the assets were bought out by S&S.

And last I checked, there weren't tons of Hypersonics being built...

Actually X has gotten better uptime and runs 2 trains on normal. But it is still a POC. :)

Now that we are getting a water park dont expect a roller coaster and a B&M ride for quite a while or maybe...That will be TITE if they do get a B&M roller coaster next year.
No matter how hard it is...Never EVER give up. The real failure is those who dont try.

If your talking to me, no, because batman is a good ride in my opinion, because it doesnt just go down a hill and hit its top speed, and then go up another hill and lose all its speed. Batman stays at a good speed most of the ride, thats why i like it.

Also, if they said they were spending 35 million on our park next year, it doesnt meen all of its on the waterpark. But it probly will be.

Who knows what we will get in the future. There are many rumors.

Yes, its expected to be used on the waterpark, but like others said, it would be one of the most expensive water parks out there by about 10 million (I believe). This may be just wishful thinking, but maybe we have some attractions for the park also. Yet, it would probably not be a coaster.

The chances are pretty good that sfgam will get another b&m.
I want the sfgam survivor to be held every July and August.
