Sometimes rides don't open some days. No, it hasn't been open every day. *Zach who didn't get to ride KC because it was closed both days he was there also*
I really liked that ride. It is probably my new favorite flatride. I only had one problem with it besides when the lap bar comes down and that is that it is too short.
ive only been on this ride once and i thought it was fun while it lasted... It was incredibly short. But then again you guys are saying that it has a new program. So i wil ride it again sometime soon.
It is the same for me. Everytime I go its closed. I have been on all the new rides this season except KC. I like almost every ride I go on so even if it isnt a good ride I will still probably like it. I am not picky at all about rides. Unless they are dangerous, or hurt too much I dont care.
I finally went on it last night. It is going to be great when the water jets are on. Please don't tell me that there are no water jets because I have seen them in the water when they are not running. I will post more in the TR forum along with my SFA trip.
If the white poles are not water jets, what are they, I know we won't know if they are jets or not until they are turned on, but if you say those poles are not water jets, what do you say they are?
I don't know if those are water jets or not, but I still think there will be water jets. Why do I think so? Check out what it says on the Huss website about our top spin...
"Our new Mardi Gras area is designed to appeal to visitors of all ages," said Tim Black, vice president and general manager of Six Flags Great America. "The park already boasts a HUSS Swing Around, Trokia and Condor, and the Top Spin is the perfect addition for Six Flags Great America's high quality ride mix. The Top Spin's high ride capacity, interactive water features and unique spectator appeal makes it the ideal choice for our new Mardi Gras area. "
Let's not start up this arguement about water jets again. The two white PVC tubes are definitely water jets. You can see the on/off switches for them and the pumps for them if you look through the metal grating in front of the gondola when it's being loaded.
CoasterDude316 wrote:Before my last ride on it during CAD it flipped 6 times each the two rides ahead of me. When I got on though it only flipped twice . So you can get a great ride or a average ride now depending on weight basically. It's still running a far better program now then when it originally opened.
And we can blame Holydumb for the reason we only got 2 flips on that
I went on twice today and the second time it broke down while I was on it. The car hit the fence where you exit the ride. It broke a piece off of the fence.
But it's still been open like everyday right? It always seems to be closed the days I go. I'm at the point where I don't really care anymore if its an amazing ride or a really crappy ride. I just wanna ride it once.

I asked the ride op if there were going to be water jets and she said probably not this year but she said that those two pvc tubes were water jets. So mabye they will have them next year.
