A while back they had RollerCoaster Tychoon on the Viper. Ice Mountain water must sponsor IMS (obvious reason). I'm suprised that newer rides don't have sponsors such as RB, V2, D Vu, SUF, and RC (unless someone can correct me). The better the ride, the more people you get, the more advertising being done. The sponsors don't really make me want to buy a Kodak camera, or other products though.

It could have something to do with, the newer the ride, the more money the advertising would be. Considering that RB and SUF have Coke machines in the line, maybe they are giving money for those two rides. Viper used to have them too. I don't know about now. On top of that, Coke is all over the place, probably giving a chunk of change to SFGAm.

For large businesses, Coke gives a huge discount on the syrup (for the fountain drinks). In some installations, the syrup is provided at cost or even less. The more a major soft drink dominates in the entertainment venues (stadiums, movie theatres, theme parks), the more exposure the public has to the product, and thus... more sales on a retail level.
I think that Viper had a Doritos sign at the entrance once. It said something like "The Boldest Ride On Earth". Does anyone know if that sign is still there?
I also know that Pringles used to sponsor Shockwave when they were still the park's official potato chip.
