Pay MORE to get MORE!!

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

What do you think? Tickets now are 39 something, and with tax is 42 and few cents! Well we know that roller coasters are expansive. So what do you think if Six Flags would rise the price up to 10$ more, but next year we would get a mega super cool ride? I would pay 10$ extra for extra roller coaster. Well 10$ times millions of people makes new roller coaster. What doy you think about it? And do you know what is the profit of six flags great america?

First of all, I can almost promise you there is not going to be a new roller coaster next year and mabe not even the year after that. Don't get me wrong it's not like I don't want them to, it's just two coasters in to years plus 4 other rides plus the shockwave factor. They aren't building a new roller coaster anytime in the upcoming season.

Actually, admission price this year is $41.99. They won't charge $10 more to get a mega cool coaster because not as many people will want to come because of the dramatic price change. Also, tyster, don't make promises that you can't keep. You probably wouldn't have promised us that we would get these 5 new rides this year, especially after Superman. Would you or would or not of?

Well I couldn't because I lived in florida when sfgam put in superman and didn't find out until after shockwave was taken down. As for the 5 new rides this season, those probably costed as much as a second superman.

Yes, you are right I can't predict the future, however, don't you agree that it probably won't be happening?

tyster, Kc and Big Ez ballons were old rides from another six flags park. They were probably no more than about $150,000 apiece

The new rides were suppose to cost the park about $6 milion. Superman is far more than that.

Also, I have no comment for your question.

I heard that KC was bought new, but it was at Huss's factory for awhile. I know now that Revolution was at SFGAdv and was called Pendulum. SFGAm has to be getting good deals on this rides especially if it's from another park of there's. Jester's has to be cheaper than 150, maybe 50000-75000. I once heard that SUF cost $12 million. Granted we have a rollercoaster this year, I don't believe we will getting one next year. I won't mind a real good flat next year such as Chance's Chaos.

Okay, people ARE NOT going to pay now for a ride that they don't have. Blah! Take buisness people!

If Six Flags was to raise prices by 10.00 for no imediate apparent reason, people wouldn't pay. Maybe enthusiasts would, but the common person wont. This isn't RCT.

Would you go to mcdonalds today and pay 8.00 for a cheeseburger so they can repave the parking lot tommrow? I didnt think so....
