If you had to chose one

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

Say Great America is going to get a great new coaster. But unfortunently an existing coaster or large attraction must be replaced. What coaster or large attraction would you choose to go?

Man this is tough. I guess it would have to be Demon, even though it is a classic.

I would say goodbye to Space Shuttle America or the SWT ampitheatre. After the two stunt shows, Wild West and Batman, it's been a waste in my opinion. On top of that SFGAm has another unused theatre, Wildnerness (by picnic grove). So, SFGAm should not take out another coaster.

The Space Shuttle America would be the first to go on my list, it never has had a good ride in the couple of years, but the FF show is good, but always the same

The Wilderness theater is still used but much less than it used to. In fact, on Saturday, the Relient K concert will take place in the Wilderness Theater.

Okay there's a fright fest show on SSA? Anyway, I agree they should take out SSA (Even if Stargate SG 3000 isn't bad) and the go carts. If not then take out picnic grove and put it somewhere else. But NEVER take down Demon

I would say SSA because it's just wasting space and Tim Black could definatly put a killer coaster in it's place and get way more people in that area.

I don't think SSA is going anytime soon. They signed that 5 year deal with MGM about the Stargates. (At least that's what i heard, i don't remember where) So i hight dougt Stargate will leave soon. But i agree. I'd rathere there be a coaster there.

They better not have the same show for five years. One time is bad enough seeing it.

Im not sure as far as contracts go, but im pretty sure that if it was going to stick around for long that they would have done a little more work to the theater than a plastic sign over the SSA sign

The Stargate show isn't all that bad. It even made me want to go to Hollywood Video and rent the movie.

Wouldn't you have to get another rollercoaster just like that because the space is so small? And for a flat, the space is too big unless you get a massive "ferris wheel". Wait a minute, they tried that already.

If they got rid of SSA, they could build the station right there and have in weave outside of the go karts, and on the edge of the parking lot. I dont know what kind of coaster they would put there though. Do you think there would be enough room?

All this talk about taking SSA out reminds of a commercial awhile back when V2 was the new ride. It looked like V2 was where SSA was built. Then later I find out that it's somewhere completely different.

SSA and the go-karts gone would give enough room for a nice smaller coaster. However, if they wanted to, they could extend it to the left of the go-karts because you have all that open land by Viper and Raging Bull. So, with SSA gone, go-karts gone, and open land in SWT, you could make a big coaster.

If you have ever been to Mt. Olympus, you can see that it isn't really that hard to have a coaster and go-kart track co-existing in the same plot of land. An example from Mt. Olympus would be Pegausus roller coaster and Medusa's Drop go-kart track.

^^ then the park would start to look like a dump if they intertwined rides with other rides. in my opinion, that doesn't look appealing to me.

If they had to take some Big thing out....I'd say get rid of some type of theatre somewhere in the park.

We could take out Roaring Rapids, cause well unless you really want to ride it and you follow the map to it, you won't find it. It's hidden away and I have never seen the entrence for it. and we could put this http://www.negative-g.com/Knotts/Knotts-2001-8.html (second pic). That ride looks so fun.
