I think Six Flags should buy the land next to it with the water to make a new theme area and have new rides maybe three including riddlers revnge over the pond but longer and faster and have SFGA to fight the gurnee height restriction so we can have taller rides instead of 200 foot ones. Because air planes dont even go past SFGA trust me....the air port is in my back yard.

If SFGAm has so much room, why do we have a blue and white dismantled coaster on the hill?

As you can recall Shockwave was not even on the chopping block until people wrote letters saying to keep the Whizzer. So if this was true, Whizzer had less people on it than Shockwave.

Actually Whizzer had more people in average but I think SFGA wanted more publicity so they would tear down the whizzer build S:UF and they would have taller rides. But Whizzer had more people than shockwave but shockwave had its days.

If six flags wanted to add a coaster this year I would definatley hope for (well, not hope for) but would support an XLR-8 clone. I would put it in either Yukon Territory or in Hometown Square. The reason is Suspended coasters aren't that scary and XLR-8 is one of my favorites. I can also see mabye some kind of Wooden Coaster coming in place of Eagle, mabye Twisted Twins or The Boss.
Twisted Twins is not bad, but the Boss is bad!!!! in my opinion it's the worst wooden roller coaster I've been on.

I'm going to say it one more time, and hopefully you will all get it. The letters of petition may have had something to do with Whizzer staying and Shockwave going, but usually a park has a plan as to what it wants to take out and what it wants to put in set before anything is even done. The only thing that could change that is if the ride set for destruction miraculously gets a huge raise in attendance or if another ride becomes too much of a problem to maintain. This was the case when they removed Shockwave. If anything kept Whizzer there, it was the long-standing maintenance problems with Shockwave and it's sudden structural failure just a few weeks before set demoliton for Whizzer.
SFGAm told the GP they were convinced by the petitions rather than tell the guests that one of their main scream machines was now a potential death trap. Why? Who would go to a park with rides that could cause serious injury? That's why.
This is also the reason no park in the chain won't touch Shockwave with a 50-foot pole. The truth is, Shockwave is scrap metal and what with it's maker out of business, NEVER COMING BACK. EVER.
Thanks to SFGAm's cover-up and the GP's naive belief that they were right, Whizzer is now more popular than ever, sealing it's keep in the SFGAm family. As for Demon and AE, one of them is next on the chopping block. It's just a matter of time...
They've spent so much money on AE already and they just painted Demon, so I doubt they won't leave for a long long time!
I bet you are a person that complains about losing Mariott theme/feel ,unbullievable, and scrapping the Demon would be loosing another piece of your Mariott theme.

No, I like the fact that SFGAm has managed to keep most of the Marriot charm, but that wasn't really the point of my post. Still, Demon and AE are suffering from the lowest of ridership except on really busy days, sure they've put a lot of work into AE, but I doubt they want to continue to pour money into it's maintenance forever.
