If u had a choice of any ride in all the six flags parks which one would u choose to build and where in the park.

myne would be Scream at SFMM and i would put it in place of whizzer. or a floorless B&M Ride

I would put in Medusa, even though GAm was supposed to get that ride where they put Raging Bull, in the parking lot. Screw Shockwave, it is down and never coming back, so please don't talk about it going back up, It's not.

Although I know there'd have to be a variance issued by Gurnee for the height issue, I'd love to see something like Millennium Force or Superman: Ride of Steel put in. I really don't have a good suggestion as to where to put something like that, as I'm assuming they take a rather large footprint, but they'd be cool to have nonetheless. However, something along the lines of Scream or Medusa certainly wouldn't be bad either. Let's just get them all!

I was really only referring to MF when I spoke of the variance. I thought that they'd have to get one for anything over 300ft, but I may be mistaken. I heard someone say something about them only having to get one if they went higher than Sky Trek, which, I think, is 320, so maybe they wouldn't have to get one after all. Nevertheless, I'm not holding my breath on getting either one of those rides, although it would be awesome.

I would also like to see a Mine Train. Texas, StL, New Jersey, and Georgia all have mine trains. Why can't we? They could put it in SWT where the outdoor theatre is located now.

They should build a new one of a kind ride and put it where the southwest ampitheatre is, between eagle and the bull.

One thing you need to learn about Great America is that, We don't care about our coaster count....We care about quality over quanity. Yes I agree SWAT should be removed but will it....No, they have a nice show in there and it is a crowd pleaser.

With American Eagle gone, two more coasters can go in. Screamin' Eagle and a Mine Train. This equals the same amount. I wouldn't care if we had the most coasters.

We were supposed to get a Floorless but built Raging Bull instead???Interesting.
I'd say take out SSA and Put the Floorless coaster in there to bring more people to that part of the park. Putting something in the SWAT would also be a good move too, something Southwest themed would fit good.
B&M could come up with a good name for a Floorless to go right in that space. It could even go over the parking lot some and around RB and AE.

One ride I can say for sure is Goliath. I would pick Goliath over Raging Bull any day. I have not been on X but It would be cool to have one. For a coaster outside the chain I would say Millennium Force because its my favorite ride but money is an issue. Also Top Thrill Dragster is my second favorite ride and would like to have but money and height are an issue.

Also if something the height of Millennium Force were in the works there wouldnt be a need for a height variance because the limit is 330 feet which is the height of Sky Trek Tower. I think the only problem that would be involved would be the noise. If it was an Intamin Giga Coaster then the only noise would basically be screams. The people living in Gurnee would think that something that big would be very noisy. I would think it would be hard to convince the people of Gurnee that there is little noise made by the ride.

Im kind of confused as to why some of you say you want a Medusa and other say Scream! Scream! is just a mirror of SFGADvs Medusa. The major differences in the Medusa at SFMW is that it doesnt have a boomerang and the corkscrews dont interlock. So if you favor the SFMW Medusa over Scream! then you guys are the only ones who actually know what they really talking about.

If Gurnee didn't have the stupid height restriction I would have Top Thrill Dragster from Cedar Point and put it behind the river rapids. But with the height restriction I would have S&S's Thrust Air 2000.

I think they should have a Floorless version of Ridler's Revenge and make the drop go around sky trek tower and take out SSA and the Go carts and some of the parking lot.

Roar from SFMW on the picnic grove side of the park(somewhere). It probably would't fit there though. :?
Also, Jokers Jinx or Poltergeist. I've been on Flight Of Fear(PKI) and could only imagine what that ride would be like without the building around it.
Finally Coaster Season!!

How is Joker's Jinx? Does it have a fun house in the line? That ride looks awesome looking at it!!!

Hello guys wake up The Whizzer is not leaving. That is a great ride not only for families but for everyone. Expect The Whizzer to be painted next year and hopefully that will put an end to the ride leaving topic. Folks Raging Bull was always the ride we where slated to get not A Floorless. I new about Raging Bull two years before it was built. Don't get me wrong I feel Viper is a better ride then Raging Bull but what counts are two things, Capacity and The General Public both which Raging Bull has on it's plus side. As for The American Eagle it never has run better since all the track work and turning the Blue Side Backwards. Millions apon Millions apon Millions of dollars have been poured into the Eagle in the last ten years, it's a Staple of the park and will also go nowhere. Don't worry we still have lot's of room and when a new coaster comes it will fit in without taking any other coaster out. When is the key word now it's all up to attendence.

Corectomundo, The only way I see whizzer leaving in the next couple years is if it becomes a maintenence nightmare, from whta I understand right now its had its fair share of problems but nothing all that bad, and I dont know one person who dislikes this ride, and from a buisness point of view, thats a jackpot, until the maintenance bills overshadow the publics liking of this ride.

That's a hard choice. I would say green.

You guys get so uptight (scared) about SFGAm rides leaving the park. There's no need to be. If it's good ride, doesn't have many mechanical problems, and people love it, they won't get rid of it. So what if I say "see ya Am E," it's just what I would like to get rid of. It doesn't mean it's going to happen.
