Comments on New Paint Job For Batman

For anybody who has gone to SFGA this year they should have seen the new paint job on Batman. What do ya' think? I think its nice b/c the old one was rusted and it didnt stand out. This one is nice but a lot of people said it should just be the same. My opinion is that either paint over the same colors or instead of purple and yellow make it black and yello but its still cool with me it looks black from far away.

I have to say... I didn't really like the original black and I still don't like the current yellow/purple. I think it would have been nicer looking if it was painted gray and black. It also would have been cooler if it was painted black with yellow tracks.

The only thing that bugs me is that now there are three yellow coasters in a row there. V2, Batman, and RC.

LMAO You know its funny my freind said the same thing. I think they should leave batman the way it opened. Put the Wirling somewhere else ( if the can ) and put the bat mobile in the same location. Also to change the store back and arcade back how it was and fix the pictures to have pictures on the ride again.

I really liked the old rustic look but this makes Batman look a lot more attractive and it's really looking awesome/running great!

Why worry about the color of the coasters just enjoy them. By the way they are all looking good and are all different shades of yellow blue green teal etc. Rust Sucks get ready when they repaint Raging Bull and Iron Wolf The Rails will be painted too.

I liked the rusty Batman blue, I miss it... But I like the new paint job a LOT better. It looks nicer.

Im not saying I hate the new paint job. I like it Im just saying they should have balck instead of purple and change what I said before about the batmobile and the store.

Yea it definatly does look weird having three yellow coasters in a row. But it seems that the old rustic look of batman went along w/ the graffiti.
I don't mind it @ all, just sucks that there are two other coasters that are yellow right next to it.

why not try a new color for batman cause every batman is either black grey or purple and yellow how bout trying a new color like a dark blue and yellow or a red and yellow

Since they painted, I have gotten used to it. I do have to say that Batman the Ride, the colors mostly yellow and blue or purple don't make sense. Batman the figurehead is either mostly gray and a little black (Justice League), mostly black and a little red (Batman Beyond) , or mostly black and a little yellow (movies). I would have went with black supports, black track, and yellow rails.

Also, I would like to add that I haven't seen the rust on the ride like you guys are seeing since it first opened in 1992. The blue or purple pole near the car has already been scratched up. If it was black, it wouldn't take that long to scratch up.

I don't like all the yellow rides. V2 should be the only yellow coaster there. Batman should be black and Ragin Cajun should be a swampy green.

I think to make the ride a different color they should have made it maybe maroon rails. But I think batman a blak ride was hard to remember riding because it was less vivid.

Yeah, I was in line for V2 once, and these guys were arguing about Batman... one said it had always been yellow, and the other was saying they repainted it this season. And I've also heard some people say it's a new ride.

And it's not purple, it's a dark blue. If the supports were purple it would be pretty ugly if you ask me.

I say they did it because Batman Knight Flight is out of the family and they could use those colors and not be copying another Batman!

I like the paint job. It looks brand new, althought the three yellow coasters in the area does kinda crowd the area. But its nice to see some new light on an old, rusty, but great ride.

While in the station waiting for V2: I overheard a girl ask her boyfriend how the V2 train gets from where we were over to the other track? (Referring to Batman).

So she seriously thought V2 and B:TR were all one ride. It got me thinking what if a train did jump tracks? INTENSE!
