Compared it to other coasters in the world, not just the park. How is it better (or is it?) than other B&M Speed Coasters?

No one said it has the best first drop there is, but has a very, very good one..probably my 3rd favorite 1st drop ive been on (MF and TTD if that counts being the better ones). Its kinda funny how you have Bull as your Avatar yet you ask why its so good.

Ive been on the 3 B&M Speed Coasters in the US and its my 2nd favorite of the two. I like Nitro more, but Raging Bull has the best first drop of the three. Apollo also has a dip before the drop but it is SO LONG (you can fit an entire train on the dip) that it doesnt produce the same ejector air in the back as does Bull. Now if only we had an Intamin Hyper Coaster too....

I have reasons why I think it is so good. I have been on it millions of times. Im just trying to get a list of reasons to support why it's so good.

I can think of why so many people like it, it's smooth (probably main reason) and the big first drop. My dad can stand this, and he doesn't go on any roller coasters besides this, Whizzer, and Viper.

I personally don't care for it because of all the turns. A couple of drops are even slanted so you don't get the full effect. The three good parts of the ride are the first drop, and the two bunny hills. Also, I hate the two trims, and the braking at the end of the ride. I like the other B&M coasters better: BTR, SUF, and IW.

Just once I'd like to ride RB without the trims on the 3rd hill to see what it's like.

IK the trims give awesome weighlessness airtime, but I'm wondering if you would have mad ejection airtime if they were off.

You cant take a turn at high speed without banking, youd die of high g's

If there werent any turns it would be a long coaster as it would have to travel around the globe

Turn and go straight, so you can have a nice big drop. Making the track slanted takes all the fun out of a good drop.

Reasons SFGAm owns:

1. B&M treasure chest (B:TR, RB, S:UF, IW)
2. Record-breaking park (first invert, tallest racing woodie, etc.)
3. More theming than any other SF park
4. Rides kept in great maintenance, especially woodies
5. Excellent customer service and friendly atmosphere
6. Wide selection of many different rides
7. One real continuous path (with the excpetion of ST) to avoid getting lost
8. One of the biggest (possibly best) coaster collections in the Midwest
9. Incredible entertainment (Parade, Pictorium, Vegas-style magic show)

Without a doubt SFGAm is the most underrated park in the country. It kills me that we're "not good enough" to make a single coaster show.

Yeah we are! All I hear about is cedar point this, kennywood that, Universal studious this, Dizney World that. We are just as good as those parks, and better than Kennywood and Dixney World.

It depends what park your at. MGM, Epcot, and Animal Kingdom forget it. Also, that new Mission to Space is laaaaaaaammmmmeeee. Maybe, you can argue Magic Kingdom. Going on SSA twenty times a season is like going to any of these parks except for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Splash Mountain, and Space Mountain. Tower Terror is a good ride, but I get so bored listening to the stupid story over and over and over again.

Country Bears, Snow White (she's hot), Jungle Cruise, the Hall of Presidents, and others are great but, there is no way I could go on them 20 or more times a year. You have to be kidding if you can.

SFGAm is better than WDW, and the Universal Studio's parks in Orlando.

I would have to disagree with GAm being better than Disney. You have to remember that Disney never really wanted to give people thrills, and make them puke everywhere. However, to stay at the top of competition, they had to introduce some type of scream machines.

Universal is better than any SF park in the chain in my opinion. I guess you have to take it from a movie perspective.

Of course, us coaster enthusiasts are going to say that SFGAm is better than Disney, because Disney doesnt have the coasters and thats what we want. in my opinion though, I would rather go to SFGAm than Disney.

It's not about the coasters that makes me like SFGAm better. Sure, they do have more coasters. It has to do with the re-rideable rides at SFGAm compared to WDW. 20 times on Jungle Cruise a year, not too much fun. 20 times on Fiddler's Fling a year, priceless.

If you go once or twice or year, it wouldn't make me sick of the rides. There main four rides were a blast (Big Thunder Mountain, Tower Terror, Splash Mountain, and Space Mountain). 10 or 12 times, ya "Yo-Ho" to you.

You are WAYYY off. every part of disney is a better experience than Gam. When I went there, I had the time of my life, everything is top of the line fun. Sure there are no Hyper giga twister strata coasters, but thats not what Disney is about.

Have u been on mission Space? How can you say its lame, I thought it was by far the best simulation i have ever been on, and I doubt it could get any better.

Yes, I have been on Mission to Space and have been there this year. Besides my family saying it's nothing special, I heard someone else say "It's nothing like they advertise on the ads." What's so great about it? Space Shuttle America last year's version is 10 times better.

I Couldnt disagree with you more, The ride offers a complete sense of weightlessness, for a prolonged period of time, and its interactive.

Can someone else whos been on it back me up.

Maybe, it depends on what time of year you went. The reason why I say this is because some people were getting heart attacks on this ride. So, maybe they tamed it down for this reason. I was there around May 15. If not........

This is not a forum to compare Dizney with SFGAm, it is a forum to say how awesome GAm is, so get off the Dizney topic
