I saw all of the old rides beleive it or not! It was hard to see and I wish I brought my camera. They are stored near shockwave and near IRON WOLF and ROARING RAPIDS They include HAYBALER, SKY WHIRL (The Cars Were Very Rusty For it) and I think POWER DIVE and the puker CAJUN' CLIFFHANGER.
If you see any more sightings of old rides please reply!
one time this off-season I went to take pictures in the staff parking lot and I saw RC being built. I also saw some strange old rides that looked familiar like what you're saying. Plus I think I may have seen Southern Cross Sky Ride's cars in the storage garage! But it was weird looking at power dive because I sighed and thought "I wish I got the chance to go on it"
I changed my avatar in honor of papas. What happened to him?
That's a sad story, but looking at shockwave like that creeps me out because I was on it. It gives me the feeling of what if it fell apart when I was on it.

Power Dive Hurt bad, but it was fun. Sky whirl was fun for a while until you were in the air forever and couldn't get out. Haybler was really fun. The best flat ride ever. Shockwave ruled, but some people didn't seem to like cause it hurt sometimes too, but there was no line. Rolling Thunder was like whizzer funwise.
Ah, the old rides. Power Dive sucked, Sky Whirl was actually a "Sky whirl"
you'd go on it, and i'd whirl Shockwave- better than most coasters but not the best
I think a lot of people know about how to see the old rides being in the lot. All you have to do is look to your left while on the train. Also back there are those little rides that used to be in Hometown Park.

I think you mistaked the Southern Cross seats as Sky Whirls buckets.
Where exactly is Haybailer and Cajun Cliffhanger? I've seen before Power Dive, Sky Whirl cars, and when Tidal Wave was taken down, it was there. (It is now gone, so please don't ask if it's still there.)
There might have been parts of CC in the employee parking lot or somewhere there backstage, but I doubt you would be able to distinguish them as CC parts because if it is there it is all taken apart.

Sky Whirl- The cages are the only thing left.
Haybaler- Gone. Its not back there.
Cajun- Gone as well. Scrapped under the welders torch. Not back there.
Power Dive- Still there, stored
AGR- Loaded into large storage containers. Visible from the Superman lift. You go right over them.
Other than that, there are no other rides stored in the backlot other than Power Dive, AGR and Sky Whirl cages.
all that's left from Sky Whirl are the buckets, rest of the ride was sent to the Cleveland Corp in Waukegon and by now is foreign auto chassis and soda cans.
Also most of the rest of whats back there is incomplete, Power Dive and SW are the only complete rides in storage there. Haybaler's sturcture was destroyed during removal (though pieces are back there), Cliffhangers Barrel was taken off site a long time ago, probably sold for scrap.
Also if interest (possibly) the hometown kiddies are still in the park, at least one of them is being stored under Batman. You can get a quick glimpse as you hit the final brakes on BTR.
