Ride Opening Times

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

I'm going tommorow and I was wondering if any rides were opening late (noon) normally during this season? Also I would appreciate it if someone corrected my gameplan for tommorow... I not sure about the rides between AE and lunch
Deja Vu
American Eagle (both sides if open)
Iron Wolf
BTR
Ragin Cajun?
SUF?
Lunch
Whizzer
Demon
Raging Bull
Viper
I'm sure I'll have some time left to ride RB and others multiple times but I'm not sure if it is a good idea to go ride the rides listed in question.

Id suggest going from Deja Vu, to Raging Bull, to GD, to Demon, then back through to Whizzer and Orleans Place fater that. Deja Vu and SWT seem to have the longest lines towards the peak of the day. I sugegst getting them out of the way first.

They did away with the "This ride opens at noon" thing late last year.

Vu is almost unpredictable, some days it will open with the park...and then some days it opens 10 minutes to 2 hours late. Only go to it first if you see it testing in the morning.

If I were you I would save Eagle and Iron Wolf for mid-day and get on Raging Bull and Viper as early as possible before the crowds all get to Southwest Territory.

Just my 2 cents.

I am guessing you are going Friday. If the park is really packed at the beginning of the day, I would head for BTR, Am E, or IW because they are in back of the park and everyone goes to the front. However, if the park is emptier in the beginning, I would go on D Vu or RB. I think you will make all the rides you want to. RC and SUF should be saved for later in the day because they are quite packed.

Definatly hit SWT first and get those rides first, then head over to Deja Vu because it probably won't have a huge line yet. In all honesty in the afternoons almost every major ride queue (with maybe the exception of Demon, Eagle, and maybe Iron Wolf) will have 60 minute waits so usually I do S:UF in the peak of the afternoon when everything else's lines are huge too.

Just don't leave early, the last hour is probably the funnest part.

Ragin' Cajun rarely opens on time (sometimes opens with the park). I reccomend not risking it, go to S:UF then B:TR without stopping at Cajun.

While many people enter the park and go counter-clockwise (towards whizzer, Bull and that) I suggest you go Clockwise. Stop by S:UF, is it's pretty long, keep going to Batman (Skip RC, I doubt it'll be open on time) then, if it's really hot, get to IMS or LR, becuase they won't have any lines yet either. After hit IW, Eagle. From there you could then start on the other side of the park.

It works so well becuase the people that went towards whizzer and the coasters on that side of the park will "Swap" to the to the other side of the park after lunch, making the lines a shorter when you hit the rides.

Actually after 11-1130, SWT and Deja Vu are in full queues and remain like that for the rest of the day.

You can see my TR in the other forum...anyway I dont really care when I hit SWT because RB and Viper's lines never go over a hour, move fast, and are always worth it.

sometimes it can get horrid, and all the rides have waits over an hour, maybe Jester's will have a 1/2 hour wait.
