What will go next? (NOT A RUMOR THREAD!!!)

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

What ride do you think will be going down next and why? With your answer, do NOT post anything about rumored new rides. This is not a rumor thread, but just a simple question on what beloved ride the space-limited SFGAm will lose next.

Personally, I think Eagle will disappear off the SFGAm map within the next 2 years. Let's face it, the ride has extremely low ridership, is in constant need of painting and retracking, and the most obvious sign it's going down... the on-ride photos are gone.

Eagle will not go. It is their signature ride, and they continually retrack portions of it every year. Last year they completely repainted the trains, so it will be around for a good time to come.

As for what I think will go or should go? Iron Wolf or Demon. Demon has quite a following (holydumb for example!), and it just got repainted this year, so that will probably stick around. While there are fans of Iron Wolf, the ridership is relatively low, and is the least favorite coaster in the park.

Am E is next, Space Shuttle America, or Trailblaizer . I would definitely say not Whizzer because of the many followers. You seen how they saved that ride from destruction, they won't do that again.

I couldnt see trailblazer going because there is nothing really else to put there. I couldnt see them take it out and just leave nothing there. Now SSA on the other hand, Im pretty sure you can put a new flat ride right there.

The Eagle IS NOT going anywhere. It is a signature ride.

So what if they took out the onride photos. BIG DEAL. They got rid of the photos on Batman 3 years ago. Guess what, IT'S STILL HERE!!! They even gave it a nice shiney new paint job.

Anyway, to answer the original question, I think it will be Ice Mountain Splash. It's only open on crowded days and takes up a lot of room. I would much rather see Logger go but GAm has made it clear which flume they like better.

I think removing any coaster should be a very last resort. They have plenty of room by Stargate. They can afford to lose a few parking spaces if neccesary.

I can promise you that the Eagle will not be going anywhere, it is too popular, and a classic

Also, I dont see them removing or adding anything for a while, since so many things were just added, and think over the years also. A lot has changed in the past 5 years.

I think they should take out IMS and put in a water coaster. It would fit in the area, and it would add to the coaster count!

They should never take out IMS, it is the better of the two water log rides
