What I was saying was that they tried something new(even though SFOG and SFMM tried it too they all did it at the same time so it was State-of-the-art). Well Deja-Vu gave them a lot of trouble and rather than try something new again and piss off their visitors again. They are going with something kind of new but a proven design.Sorry if its hard to read but I'm tired.
--Reviving--Honestly, I don't care what we get (I don't think we will get anything). If it is a flat ride, there is a 90% chance I will never ride it. I don't ride flat rides other than the orbit. (Rode condor once and thought I would never feel better) Thoughts, Opinions?
have you ever ridden ALL of the flat rides? I love the flats too, just not as much as the rollercoasters. if you havent ridden all the flats then ride them once and decide if you'd ride this "new" one or not.

My opinions/predictions for what SFGAm should do for 2004 and 2005 seasons. For 2004 I think that we will get a Huss Giant Frisbee or Delerium or some really cool Flat rides. That will be placed where Power Dive was and the New Orleans Grill will be taken out. WE need a small flat to be put whare Cajun Cliffhanger was if thats possiable. Other things around the park will be improved like painting, repainting and other park maintince to make the park look nice again even though it looks pretty good now make it look even better. HAHAHAHA.IN 2005 I think we should get a new coaster and put it like whare I said before and Nolan ( SFGAMSHOCKWAVE ) stated above.Demolish winners circle and maybe Space Shuttle America but not Sky Trek Tower. And destroy some of the parking lot over there. Just make more people park in the 2nd Parking lot make them walk alittle farther . I dont think I have ever seen the entire 1st and 2nd/overfill lot full. But if they did bulid here they would have to bulid it over grass like they did SUF.AN INTIMIN ROCKET COASTER would be a nice additon to the park in 2005 but nothing like TTD not a one trick pony. A monster coaster that goes 90 mph has airtime, has a drop of 250 and make the drop 100 degrees. This coaster is totaly twisted, 7 inversions to get our inversion count up sience they took out Shockwave.OR we should get a B&M floorless with 7 inversions i really dont care if its a clone or a coustom but a coustom would be nice just dont make it like all the new B&M's make it like all the old Glass Smooth B&M's. I dont understand why alot of the new B&Ms Like SUF back couple Rows and SCREAM at SFMM and a couple new ones are sorta rough Iam not saying there not ride worthy rough but just not super smooth.those are my Opinons/ Predictions for the 2004 and 2005 seasons
There was allready a forum about this a while back, and somebody posted that they saw the new ride list. There's a large chance we are getting a Huss Dilerium (which I think should go in place of the hometown fun machine, near the Wizzer because they only opperate that thing on weekends, it takes up a lot of land, and there is NO way a Dilerium would fit in the place of Power Dive). Possible rides for 2005 are a 4D, a rocket coaster, or a floorless. I read in an interview in a ride review of X that s&s/Arrow are developing a launched 4D system! So that covers 2/3rds of the possible rides right there!
Why would you remove another flat when we already lost 4 in 3 years? It makes no sense to remove a flat for a flat when we already are lacking in that area.
I understand what you are saying, but the ride is never open anyway, and that would be a perfect spot for it. It can't even fit in Orleans Place. And pluss, if it was constructed there, it wouldn't look crammed because it has a lot of room, woods behind it, and trees in front of it so it would somewhat blend in. And unlike the ride that's currently there, it would be open every day. I would also like to add that our park allready has 5 flats that are almost identical to Hometown Fun Machine, and a Dilerium would be a nice, different, and new attraction for families and thrill seekers alike.
Actually hometown fun machine has Been open alot this season. THERE IS NO WAY IT WOULD FIT IN HOMETOWN FUN MACHINES SPOT lol. Why would they take out a perfectly good flat ride??????STOP BASHING THE MARRIOTT Rides ahhhhhh
Did you guy every think that maybe they are putting something by Loggers run? Closing a ride early for refurbishment seems odd. Maybe they are going to add something very close to it, so they needed to close it down early so they are start construction.Carlo
No, they are just refurbishing it, nothing would be able to fit anywhere in close proimity to Loggers anyways, unless it involed tearing down Loggers, because you have the Wilderness Theatre, and Picnic Grove, both of which aren't going anywhere.
When was the last time any show was back there? It seems useless.Oh, here's my plan:2004- some kind of new flat, maybe a topspin. Nothin wrong w/that.2005- 30th anniversary (which never really seems to mean anything). I really would like to see the park try to have their count up to 12 for once. The most likely area would be behind whizzer and maybe extending into where the Go-Karts are. And rememeber that those make money for the park, they want to keep it. Maybe they could put it in another spot. As for the coaster: 2 options. A floorless but they can't build that big. Maybe 130ft. tall w/7 inversions. Or they could do a rocket. Somewhere around 85 mph and 220 ft. tall.Oh, and just out of curiosity, what other parks don't have Go-Karts?
What were you doing back by Wilderness theatre? Thats my question...for those of you wondering where it is. Its by the exit of Loggers Run, but down the path a little. I thought they had it blocked off though, you wouldn't have by chance went into any areas you weren't suppose to to get those pictures did you?
Yeah that day there was like a company picnic going on. I went over by loggers then i noticed that they gate was open.So i walked in and took pics of Wilderness theater then walked out. I think if i would have walked any farther they would have someone turning people back that wernt with the company but i didnt really care i just wanted to see wilderness theater. So to sum it up i wasnt doing anything illegal lol

You have got to be kidding me, thats the first time I have ever heard a "perfectly good flat" and "hometown fun machine" in the same sentence. That ride is in really bad shape, it takes over half the cycle just to get going and by the time it gets going the rides over. It needs to be totally refurbished or replaced in my opinion, and im sure alot of people will agree with me on this.
