NBC5.com is now reporting that the 52 year old worker hit by Ragin Cajun on May 29th has died last night. This is just absolutly horrible. I was there that day in line but we were not sure what had happened. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
My condolences to the family. Now I'm assuming we can talk about it? Truely sad, it should have never happened and I hope its prevented in the future. This is just so wrong for this to happen.
http://themeparkcritic.com/scripts/profile/ViewProfile.asp?ViewID=2909 A furious storm once roared `cross the sea, catching ships in its path, helpless to flee. Instead of a certain and watery doom, the winds swept them here to Typhoon Lagoon!
I started this topic to voice my condolence to the victims family. It was never ment to have ANY bad intentions at all. Just thought I would clear that up with you if I upset you by starting this topic.
Exactly, still very sad and it could have been prevented. And dont start saying, "bleh bleh here come rumors this is gunna get locked" this is to give condolences to the family and out of respect.

That's just speculation, something im going to have to ask people to refrain from doing in this topic. Even if you did witness what happened on May 29th.
My condolences to the family of the man, and to everyone at the park who knew and worked with him.
"Maybe Sfgam didnt go public because they hadnt contacted the family yet, believe me SF wasnt trying to "cover" anything up."
3 weeks is a little to long for the authorities to contact the family :/
There is no doubt it was because of opening of the new rides and they didnt want to have the media saying "Here is the new Ragin Cajun, on a side note, yesterday a mechanic was seriously injured" as that is what the media would have done.

Their main concern was th well being of this man, not media, Why would SF want to cover up something, they didnt cover up the SCREAM! worker incident, why would this be any different.
I hope the family is alright, and I feel bad because I saw him get hit by the train and fly back, it was a scary incident. Again prayers for the family and friends
Universal Orlando Mechanical Engineer Marathon down, Goofy to go.
I noticed that have put a fence around parts of the ride; I suspect this is because of the incident. I noticed on Media Day how they would just walk right through the ride while is running, which is kind of dangerous.
