Coasters After Dark Question

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
Postby TwistedSTEEL666 on June 3rd, 2004, 7:55 am
Ok, I plan on attending June 16th's C.A.D. Event, however me, and my 2 sisters are the only ones who have season passes, my father who's taking us doesn't have one. He'll wait in the parking lot for us, two hours after the park closed, but the parking ticket says something like "no cars to remain in the parking lot after closing or they will get towed?"

What should I do? I really want to attend. :?

They wont get towed. There will be hundreds of other cars in the parking lot that night, trust me. Six Flags wont care if he sits in the car because technically they close at 11 (or whatever time it is) that night.

So GO and don't worry. The only time they will really tow is if your car is the only one left and they need to sweep the lot.

Does it say anywhere that you HAVE to have a season pass to be in the park? I believe you must present your season pass before getting in line for a ride and that is how they filter out all the non pass holders. In this case you father could remain in the park waiting at the ride exits for you to get off. Because I honestly don't think they are going to make EVERYONE leave and only allow season pass holders back into the park at 9pm.

And as was suggested before, ask Guest Relations, I'm sure they will be able to come up with something.

I don't know about that aero.

Remember that the park stated that you must be in the park 30 minutes before the normal closing time.

I think they are going to have pass holders wait in a certain area while the rest of the guests leave.

I bet you that they will give season pass holders wristbands (like that they did at WDW) so they can go on the rides after the park has closed.

I know it says that the major rides will be open, but will any of the flats be open, you think?

Don't worry about that. The weather is not always correct. I remember one of the Saturdays in May that is was asuppose to storm all day, but only drizzled for 2 10 minute periods.(And that didn't even close DejaVu.)

From what I have been told, all the coasters will be open (with maybe the exception of Spacelys). Also Giant Drop and Revolution were supposed to be open.

Don't quote me on this. I am just passing along what I was told.

I called today to see if all coasters will be up and the lady on the phone put me on hold to find out. When she got back on she said that ALL are supposed to be up unless of mech or weater failure.
Waiting to fill this space with something stupid to say!
