Well I have read on the forums that King Chaos was testing. Just three questions for them who saw it. Were the water effects also running? How did they look if they were? Also one of you said it didn't go up side down. Do you think they might have been trying to get a new program started, and just didn't include it fliping in it at the time? Thanx alot for any answers ahead of time.
NOTE: Topics merged, and please keep all King Chaos questions and posts in here.
Were getting a Water Park! WERE GETTING A WATER PARK!!!!!

I saw it testing today and no they did not have the water effects going.. and yes I did see it go upside down today. I think it was only once that I saw it go upside down though. Everytime they tested it it seemed to be different so maybe they have different intensities that they can set? It looks like it is going to be a pretty intense ride. I can't wait until they get it up and running.
I just want to know what is happening with King Chaos. Is it operating or testing? Is it going upside down? Does it look intense to those who may have seen it testing or operating? How does the water feature look if there is any? Sorry about all the questions.
I wish I lived in Chicago so I could go to Six Flags more often!
I saw it test the whole time yesterday considering a waited an hour and ahalf for ragin cajun to open. At first in the day they were just moving it around without it going upside down but later it started going upside down. I have some pics of it testing that i will get up eventualy.
well on Saturday there was a guy that was testing it and while he was testing it he was holding a stopwatch and was timing it. and it looked as if when it did not do whatever it is programmed to do he would e-stop it then walk all the around to the back and bring it back to start positon and he did this a few times. so they must be trying to find out what else is wrong with it
I saw it test 3 times today, all the programs seemed different in my opinion. I counted how many times it went upside down which was twice. One in the very begining, and one near the middle portion of the ride. I'm not too sure how much I like how it squeaks though...

It was "testing" today (I'm not sure if was the official test to get it state certified because the covers for the backs of the seats were still missing.) Anyways, the waterfall in front was running as it is all the time, even when the ride is shut down, but the water cannons (which I still haven't seen) were not running.
About the upside down...it appears that there are no motors where the car attaches to the arms, and only where the arms attaches to the structure. It didn't really go upside down, it just sort of on its side the entire time. It looks like the forwards and backwards movement of the car itself will be controlled by gravity.
Papas wrote:/\ Why can't people just accept the fact that theres no jets?
Maybe people dont freaking know everything unlike you. Not everyone goes to the park everday, and unfortunately not everyone has the "sources" that you have
Were did the jet thing start. Were did the idea come from, or were does it say there are going to be jets. I think the water jets would look nice close to roaring rapids. I think it would also be nice if we had those fountians inbeded in the pavment around the middle of Mardi Grass area, or maybe some jumping fountians for those hot summer days.

I was told that there are 4 water jets that will shoot upward just like every other Top Spin. They are not running yet because the ride is still not working correctly. Just because the ride is testing does not mean that it is working correctly.
I can tell you that when I was there on Saturday, the man with the stopwatch was not from SFGAM. If he were he would be wearing the Official Six Flags Maintenance Uniform.
