My Reveloution Model

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
Postby sfgam on June 8th, 2004, 3:57 pm
I have been working on a model of a huss frisbee for the past couple weeks. I painted it after Reveloution at SFGam. It may not look like much, but it was difficult to design and build. It can swing back and forth, and it has a motor so the car spins. Here are some pictures.

btw, I am a bad painter, so please give me some slack on the paint job.

Now I really am going to give you credit for your effort. I think you did a fine enough job with the painting.

Don't forget to do the bottom of the pendulum. And the motor which gets it going. 8)

Would the pendulum happen to reverse and swing higher like the real ride does?

R.I.P. Splashwater Falls and Space Shuttle America. Deja Vu, enjoy Idaho.

Wow I'm really impressed with that. That's awesome that you got a motor hooked up to it and it spins.

The Orbit would look cool, and if you want to go for broke a model of American Eagle would surely be a project LOL

I'm thinking about doing a V2 model. The plan is still in my head though.

Yes, but some of the other rollercoaster models that people can make are amazing. Espically if they work! Intamin box track isn't that hard to replicate and V2 has a fairly simple structure.

the trains would be difficult- i was thinking that you could make a frame out of 1/8 sticks of balsa wood and cover it in sheets of balsa wood. im also thinking of making a model of demon drop- the same kind of thing as "the edge" which had an accident at sfgam in the late eightys.
