Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
This sounds like a stupid question but what used to be in V2's spot?

Before V2, you were also able to use that wooden deck type bridge as a walk-through.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

I miss that section. That's quiet section is what kept the charm of Yankee Harbor. Now it no longer retains its charm. Sigh.
There used to be a set of benches near Whirligig, New England Cafe, and the former entrance to Yankee Harbor, and a lighthouse near the wooden bridge which isn't accesible anymore except through the V2 queue.
Though I do like coasters, as well as V2, my personal opinion is that the building of V2 robbed the theming out of "Yankee Harbor", mutilating the section itself. Now it looks more like an industrial zone more than a fishing village with Batman nearby.
R.I.P. Splashwater Falls and Space Shuttle America. Deja Vu, enjoy Idaho.

Give me another spot in the park with water, that V2 could fit in. It just wouldnt be the same without the water.

that would look even more ugly, it's fine now...I really don't care about the theming, it doesn't bother me.
